Job Vacancy – Valeter/DriverUp to £22,000 salary, 42.75 hours Monday to Friday
Our client is an independent, family run business which has been established for over 50 years, we are main dealers for Rollerteam, Auto-Trail and Autohaus motorhomes and campervans.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking individual to join our family-owned business.
About the role
As a Valeter, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all our vehicles are presented in a clean manner.
This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in a physical environment as demands can vary daily, has meticulous attention to detail and is able to go the extra mile if needed.
Daily Duties:
* Cleaning stock, rental and sold vehicles to a high standard.
* Cleaning vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washer and other electrical valeting equipment (training can be provided).
* Using a high-powered vacuum to clean and shampoo vehicle interiors. However, a degree of manual labour is needed at times to achieve the desired result.
* Working with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodywork.
* Working to set timeframes and targets, these can change due to demand and periods where sales are high so ability to adjust to this is essential.
* Other duties to support the business as required, this can involve driving and collecting vehicles for our own Service workshop.
Key Skills Required
* A Full Driving Licence.
* Minimum of two years valet experience
* Significant experience using a machine operated polisher (MOP) and steam cleaner.
* Attention to detail.
* Self-motivation
* Multitask
* Excellent Time Management Skills
