Full Job Description
I am looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor VDA to join my client's friendly and busy team in Hoddesdon.
You will be working with a very experienced VDA and wider team so this is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills.
- 40,000 to 50,000 negotiable, depending upon experience.
- Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm
- ATA Accredited preferred but not essential
- Audatex experience preferred but not essential
The team work hard in a very fast paced industry to make sure that the customer is always happy with the repairs to their vehicle. It is a fun and friendly team who work closely to ensure that the jobs are carried out thoroughly.
The Role
- Carry out computerised estimates
- Communicate with customers to provide repair information and an indication of completion time
- Compile all relevant information and complete supporting documentation
- Record all estimate / repair information on in house system
- Monitor progress of the vehicle through the repair process
- Negotiate estimates with the Suppliers Engineer when required
- To identify opportunities for non-insurance related repairs
- Check for authorisations daily
- To maintain and secure allocated equipment
We are looking for someone with
- Proven experience or knowledge of working in the automotive repair industry
- ATA Accredited (preferred but not essential)
- Customer service skills - experience of delivery high quality service to customers
- Planning and organisational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability managing workflow
- Valid driving licence
Salary40,000 to 50,000 + depending on experience
