Vehicle Mechanic

Full Job Description

We are looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to join our Automotive team. This is a permanent role and offers an exciting opportunity for the right individual to take up a vital role within our company.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician, with particular experience skills in vehicle repair and maintenance activities. Proficiency in using the latest vehicle diagnostic equipment is essential.

• Diagnose faults because of insight and experience
• Diagnose systems and engine malfunctions
• Performs maintenance and repair activities
• Perform electrical repairs and replacements
• Assist with vehicle delivery
• Work in line with health and safety regulations, and with a high emphasis on quality

Required qualifications include an NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in light/heavy vehicle mechanical or equivalent; and a current driving licence.
