Vehicle Quality Controller

Full Job Description

Our client is a growing and successful commercial vehicle repair body shop.

I am looking for a Vehicle Quality Controller to join the team!

• Hoddesdon
• Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm
• 35,000 per annum

The team works hard in a very fast paced industry to make sure that the customer is always happy with the repairs to their vehicle. This role is pivotal in the process of delivering excellent results.

Key responsibilities:

• Inspect all repaired vehicle to ensure that the work needed has been completed to a safe and satisfactory standard
• Communication any issues and ensure any re-work is re-inspected
• Meet targets and SLAs
• Liaise with the other teams in the business to meet return deadlines

Skills and experience:

• You will need to have experience within the automotive industry
• Maybe you have inspected vehicles in a car hire setting
• Technical experience would be useful to help your understanding of the process
• You will need excellent attention to detail, with the ability to problem solve
• You will need to be a great team player, but you will need to be able to deliver feedback to colleagues who will need to repeat work, so your communication needs to be diplomatic and positive
• Ability to work under time pressure
