Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Vet to help with our increasing caseload. We are a large small animal first opinion practice based in Norwich and see a variety of cases including orthopaedics, ophthalmology and dental referrals.

About us

We have a supportive, experienced team with certificate holders in surgery and ophthalmology, two Vets studying for certificates and one of our Vets has recently completed a certificate in dentistry. We have ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, tonometry, slit lamp, gonioscope, tonometry, orthopaedic kit, multi parameter units for theatre and full in-house lab. We are a busy practice with a large, varied caseload and the ability to work up cases in house with clinical freedom. We are always looking to improve our standards with regular clinical meetings, journal club and CPD. We are striving to improve our work life balance and the mental health of our team. We have appointed a mental health first aider and have implemented the BVA good workplace guide. We allow 15 minutes for boosters and mostly 30 mins for sick pets with plenty of time built in the day for admin tasks etc.

Norwich is a small city on the East coast of the UK. We are half an hour from the coast, have the Norfolk Broads just down the road and are about 2 hours from London.
