Our client, a dynamic and rapidly evolving Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), has undergone a strategic transformation, propelling them into the realm of Everything as a Service (XaaS).


With an expanded suite of offerings including Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), they stand at the forefront of innovation in cybersecurity solutions. They are looking for a visionary Vice President of Sales to guide their sales force into new areas as they continue to upend the industry landscape.


As the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their business and driving their continued success in their rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Job Role:


As the VP of Sales, you will spearhead our client's sales strategy, driving revenue growth and market expansion. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans tailored to the unique needs of MSSP customers, with a focus on delivering comprehensive cybersecurity solutions.


  • Leading a dynamic sales team to effectively engage with clients, build strong relationships, and drive revenue growth through consultative selling approaches.


  • Identifying new opportunities and expanding market penetration within the MSSP segment, leveraging your expertise in cybersecurity solutions and industry best practices.


  • Collaborating closely with our technical teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and service delivery, providing seamless and value-driven solutions to our clients.


  • Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements to anticipate customer needs and proactively address challenges.


Requirements:


We are seeking a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of success in the cybersecurity industry. The ideal candidate will possess:


  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within the cybersecurity industry, with a strong focus on MSSP solutions and services.


  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing strategic sales plans specifically designed for MSSP customers, with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.


  • In-depth knowledge of MSSP offerings, including threat detection and response, managed detection and response (MDR), security information and event management (SIEM), and other relevant cybersecurity solutions.


  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams, with a focus on fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and client success.


  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels and articulate the value proposition of MSSP solutions.


  • A passion for staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, with a continuous learning mindset and a commitment to driving innovation in the MSSP space.
