Up to £13.00 p/h PLUS TIPS
 
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing menus and answering any questions about the menu or specials.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that special requests or dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, following established service standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs throughout their dining experience, providing refills, clearing plates, and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth service flow during busy periods.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions and reconciling checks at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including resetting tables, restocking supplies, and performing general cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, alcohol service regulations, and customer service standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor and a genuine desire to provide great service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate guests' needs.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the business.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage offerings and willingness to learn and expand knowledge as needed.
