Warehouse Operative -Voice Order Pickers

Full Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Order picking using a voice activated headset (Talkman)

• Use of PPT and MHE to move stock safely around the warehouse

• Process inbound/outbound orders safely and accurately

• Handballing items off lorries

• Candidates with experience operating a PPT or other MHE equipment in a warehouse environment are preferred though training will be provided.

• Some heavy lifting is required, up to max. 25kg.

The role is working within a temperature controlled environment where temperatures can reach as low as -20 degrees. Full PPE is provided. 

This is a temp to perm position going permanent with the client after 12 weeks, subject to performance and conduct.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic English required.

Shifts Currently Available: 6am to 6pm, 3 on 3 off On a Rota Basis 

Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour + shift allowance per week.
