Full Job Description

Location:  Bristol, BS11
Job Role:  Warehouse Operative
Hours:  Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30 - will change to 07:00-15:30.
*During peak season (Oct-Dec) there will be additional shifts required such as Saturdays and shift ending at 11pm.
Role Type: Temp to perm
Hourly rate:  £11.98 per hour

gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit 6x Warehouse Operatives for a luxury beauty company based in Avonmouth.

Due to a new site move, our client is looking to recruit experienced Warehouse Operatives to be part of their new journey as they enter the Bristol marketplace.

Your responsibilities will include a range of tasks such as receiving and dispatching goods, picking and packing to specific order requests as well as maintaining excellent housekeeping. A key priority within this role will also be for maintaining accurate inventory levels, replenishment and dispatching stock.

Job Responsibilities:

· Accurately and efficiently picking and packing orders for dispatch.

· Quality control check on both incoming and outgoing goods.

· The use of barcode scanners.

· Assisting with stock and inventory management.

· Supporting the E-Commerce with dispatch orders.

· Housekeeping and ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and organised.

· Following processes, procedures to ensure health and safety is adhered to.

The Candidate:

· Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfilment centre setting is preferred.

· Understand and demonstrate through previous experience, knowledge of inventory control principles.

· Attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to lift and carry, experience with Manual Handling.

· Must be able to provide 2 references.
