Full Job Description

Our client are a growing Investment and Wealth Management firm in London. At present they're looking for an experienced Wealth Planner, who will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive financial planning services to their high-net-worth clients. You will collaborate closely with clients, understanding their financial goals and crafting tailored wealth management strategies to optimize their financial well-being. This client-centric role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and sophisticated financial environment, and will play a vital part in the firm's growth as they build out the offering.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with high-net-worth clients.
  • Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
  • Collaborate with a team of financial experts to deliver integrated wealth management solutions.

Financial Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop comprehensive financial plans that align with clients' objectives, covering investments, tax planning, estate planning, and retirement goals.
  • Provide expert advice on asset allocation, portfolio diversification, and investment strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and assess market trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators to refine client strategies.

Wealth Preservation and Growth:

  • Implement strategies to preserve and grow clients' wealth, considering risk tolerance and market conditions.
  • Recommend adjustments to investment portfolios based on market dynamics and clients' changing financial circumstances.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices to enhance wealth preservation and growth strategies.

Client Education and Communication:

  • Educate clients on complex financial concepts and investment strategies in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates on portfolio performance, market insights, and relevant financial planning matters.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure alignment between clients' financial goals and implemented strategies.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay informed and ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Work closely with compliance teams to guarantee that all financial planning activities meet regulatory requirements.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Wealth Planner or in a similar client-facing role within the financial services industry.
  • Recognized financial planning certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, or equivalent).
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to clients effectively.
