About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Care Home Chef to join our team in Henley on Thameson a Temporary basis. As a Weekend Care Home Chef, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our residents during weekends. This is a part-time position ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through their culinary skills.

Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences of residents.

Ensure meals are presented attractively and served at appropriate times for residents’ birthday parties and celebrations.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.

Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of kitchen activities.

Requirements:

At least 1 year’s previous experience in a similar role preferred.

Certificates of food safety, Allergen and hygiene practices.

Enhanced DBS acquired in the last 12 months.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills.

Flexibility to work weekends.
