Welder Fabricator

• Salary: Up to 36,500 per annum (equivalent to 18.00 per hour)
• Time and a Half Overtime Rate, up to 27.00 per hour. (Good hours available)
• Start: Immediate start available - Permanent position.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a 12:00 mid-day finish on Fridays.
• Location: Cambourne - Sandy - Huntingdon area. Own transport is necessary due to the rural location (No public transport).

We are seeking a Welder Fabricator skilled in TIG welding, specifically with stainless steel experience. This role involves fabricating and welding stainless steel components to meet industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components.
• Read Engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Utilise hand and power tools for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal components.
• Conduct quality inspections.
• Maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
• MIG welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Proficiency in welding equipment operation.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work Hours:

• 39 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday (Early finish on Fridays).
• Start time: 7:30 am.
• Finish times: Monday 4:00 pm, Tuesday 4:30 pm, Wednesday & Thursday 5:00 pm, and Friday 12:00 mid-day.
