Wirral - CP/CIN or Court Social Worker - £41.28 p/h

Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Wirral County Council. This is an hybrid role in the Child Protection / Children in Need Team with a competitive hourly rate of 41.28 and a manageable caseload.

Key responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Duty Service to review and manage cases referred for Child in Need Plans, Child Protection Plans, or Children Look After Plans.
* Provide expert assessment, planning, and intervention for children and families in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Work closely with families, service providers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and their families.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality regulations.
* Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay informed about changes in legislation and best practices.
* Participate in court proceedings, presenting evidence and expert opinions as required.
* Contribute to team meetings, case conferences, and other collaborative activities to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements for the role:
* Be SWW registered
* Hold a recognised social work qualification and have at least 2-year post qualifying experience.
