WORKSHOP MANAGER
HGV
Technician job details
Basic Salary: Up to
£45,000 pa
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00
- 17:00 (Slightly Flexible)
Location: Gloucester
Role
As the Workshop Manager,
you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the workshop
operations
and ensuring the efficient maintenance of vehicles and profitability
of the
workshop. Your responsibilities will encompass workshop
planning, resource management,
and building a culture of
excellence within the maintenance team.
For the Workshop
Manager role you will need to have prior Supervisory / Management
experience.
Responsibilities of
a Workshop Manager
·Workshop Leadership, lead a team of
7 technicians and oversee daily operations
·Workshop Planning,
Develop and implement plans to optimise efficiency
·Resource
Management, efficiently allocating team members to meet workshop
demands
·Performance Monitoring, Work towards KPI's
·Training
Development, Identify TRaining and Skill development within the team
·Customer Interaction, understand customer service requirements
·Quality Assurance, maintain quality control measure, conduct
regular inspections and Health and Safety.
Skills and
Qualifications of a Workshop Manager
·Level 3 / City &
Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·Prior Supervisory / Management
Experience
·UK Driver License
