  • Full antimony of stock movement withing Bay 4.
  • Provide support to the Production Team to ensure a fast and efficient turnaround for all goods entering the site.
  • Ensure all production processes are followed.
  • Ensure loading of vehicles is done in a timely manner.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Control, management, and implementation of new Kanban system.
  • Responsible of all good receipted and paperwork.
  • Control of all stock rotation.
  • Point of contact with other sites.
  • Management of weekly cycle counts.
  • Responsibility of delivery of just in time products to production line.
  • Point of contact with procurement department.
  • Daily management of material handlers.
  • Must be able to project lead to improve existing material storage.
  • Parts should be stored in a safe and suitable location.
  • Ensure material flow is maintained to support Production.
  • Accurate picking of goods for manufacturing, 3rd party suppliers and spares is a necessity in a timely manner, if requested.
  • Offloading and loading of vehicles both manually and with a F.L.T.
  • Housekeeping to be carried out daily, within stores and surrounding areas.
  • Good communication throughout Terex at all levels is required.  i.e. Purchasing, Manufacturing, Warranty, Quality etc.
  • Work safely to Company’s Health & Safety guidelines, whilst being customer focused.
  • Perform duties as required.
The successful candidate should ideally have:
  • FLT Licence – Counterbalance & Reach.
  • Experience in a Stores and Engineering environment.
  • Experience of manual handling.
  • Potential overhead crane work (training will be given)
  • Shunting chambers around site using tractor and trailer
  • Experience of Loading and unloading lorries
  • Experience of FLT operations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Supervisory experience (desirable).
  • Team player.
  • Time management.
  • Numerically competent.
  • Part identification.
  • Inter departmental interactions and delivery.
  • Shunting chambers around site using tractor and trailer.
