We require an organised Yardman Driver with basic mechanical knowledge to join our site in Reading.
Your main role will be to create and maintain a safe and organised structure in the workshop / vehicle park. You will be expected to assist movement of the vehicles around the site whilst ensuring a safe environment is always upheld.
This position would be perfect if you are looking to come away from mechanics / the tools.
Other responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Gathering information e.g mileage and service data
- See vehicles in
- Close working relationship with technicians
- Preparing vehicles to come into the workshop
- General tidiness of the yard
- Make sure vehicles are parked and organised
- Load and unload vehicles for MOT
- Collect and deliver in local area
- Assist with general housekeeping within the workshop
Skills and experience needed:
- Hold a current LGV licence
- Excellent customer service skills
- Forklift licence
- Current tacho card
