A fabulous family moving to London at the end of August seek two live-in ROTA nannies to care for their two children aged 1.5-years and 4.5-years-old.  This is likely to be a 2 week on/2 week off schedule, although the family will consider other options if necessary. 

Bearing in mind the family are new to London, this will be an all-encompassing role that will involve round-the-clock care and support for the health, well-being, and happiness of two gorgeous children, and general support for the whole family in navigating a new country, new systems, new jobs, and new schools.  Both parents have busy and demanding careers that involve frequent travel and last minute plans, so candidates must be comfortable with sole charge, proxy parenting and with managing the lives and schedules of the children.  Mum loves to cook but won't always be able to- candidates who are confident and open to preparing vegetarian evening meals for the children, and sometimes for the family, would be appreciated (Mum would be delighted to share some of their favourite recipes).  Responsibilities will also include school drop-offs and pick-ups, taking the children to activities, organising play-dates and excursions, taking the children to their appointments, keeping the children's areas clean and tidy, and keeping on top of their laundry and ironing among many other things!

The ideal candidate has a wonderfully positive outlook on life, is friendly, engaging, and gentle, and is familiar with all that London has to offer families.  A background in education would be a bonus, and they would love for the successful candidates to have warm, fun dispositions, while also being super-organised and able to instill respect and humility in the children.  A driver is preferred.  A muck-in attitude is essential- it will be a busy and stressful time for the family, and candidates should be happy to step-in and shoulder some of the load when it comes to helping them settle into their new life.  They envisage being here for at least a year, possibly more (depending on how things go), and the nannies should expect regular domestic and international travel during the school holidays.  Their location in London hasn't yet been decided but it will probably be relatively central, and the home will have a separate bedroom and bathroom for the nanny.  If you are interested in the role and are legally able to work in the UK, please apply to ZI194.
