A leading premium drinks business is looking for a Senior Customer Marketing Manager to lead shopper marketing strategy across key grocery retailers. Responsibilities- Translate brand strategy into customer marketing activations that grow P&L for both the business and retailer, working collaboratively with brand marketing, sales and insights teams.
- Manage A&P and retail media budgets across customer activations, ensuring resources are allocated strategically against key growth drivers.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with customer buying, category and marketing teams to secure best-in-class brand activation within the grocery channel.
- Develop annual customer plans aligned to business goals, setting activation direction and priorities across the off trade portfolio.
- Evaluate campaign performance against KPIs and ROI, applying learnings into future planning cycles.
- Partner with sales and national account teams to deliver on‑time, on‑budget execution with an omnichannel approach.
- Challenge agency partners to deliver standout shopper experiences at point of purchase.
- Demonstrable experience in shopper or trade marketing within FMCG, developing best‑in‑class customer activations within the Top 4 and working alongside customer media agencies to create impactful omnichannel campaigns.
- Strong commercial acumen, proven project and budget management capabilities.
- Excellent relationship builder with influencing skills to work effectively across internal stakeholders and external customer contacts at all levels.
- Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities, strong attention to detail and analytical capability to turn insight into actionable strategy.

This role requires proven experience in a FMCG category management function, ideally with exposure to convenience & impulse customers. Strong analytical capability is essential - this company needs someone who is genuinely comfortable working across multiple data sources and distilling complex information into clear, persuasive recommendations.
You'll bring:
- Demonstrable category management experience within an FMCG or consumer goods environment
- Hands‑on experience with Nielsen and/or Circana data platforms
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link category insight to business outcomes
- Excellent Excel skills and the ability to manage large, complex data sets with accuracy
