Data Scientist — Enterprise AI Applications

London (hybrid, 3 days on-site) · contractor · posted 13 Jul 2026

Five contract data‑science roles building production ML — fraud detection, predictive maintenance — for a leading enterprise‑AI software company in London.

The work

Our client is building AI applications for large global businesses: fraud detection, predictive maintenance and similar production‑scale industrial ML. We’re placing five data scientists into their London team. You’ll design, build and deploy models that ship into production — not proofs of concept — working directly with client data scientists, engineers and domain experts.

What we look for
  • 5+ years of applied machine learning — regression, classification, supervised and unsupervised methods
  • Strong Python (R also useful) and a solid grounding in linear algebra, probability and statistics
  • Experience running ML on large‑scale data (distributed or streaming pipelines)
  • Able to drive a workstream independently and explain modelling choices to non‑specialists
  • Nice to have: MSc/PhD in computer science, statistics or similar; time‑series work; published research
Engagement

£500/day · 6 months initial with likely extension · inside IR35 per the client’s status determination · start ASAP. Every candidate is technically vetted by an ARC principal architect before going forward. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK — no sponsorship is available for these roles.

Solutions Engineer (Full‑Stack) — Enterprise AI

London (hybrid, 3 days on-site) · contractor · posted 13 Jul 2026

Five contract full‑stack solutions‑engineer roles — building and deploying production AI web applications, customer‑facing, for a leading enterprise‑AI software company in London.

The work

Our client, a leading enterprise‑AI software company, builds AI applications for large global businesses. This is a customer‑facing engineering role, not pre‑sales with slides: you design, build and deploy full‑stack production applications on the client’s AI platform — plus technical deep‑dives, demonstrations, design reviews and training, in the room with the customer. Some travel to customer sites.

What we look for
  • Deployment on at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP); comfortable with SQL and NoSQL
  • Customer‑facing confidence — able to run a technical session with a client’s engineers and executives
  • STEM degree or equivalent practical grounding in data structures and algorithms
  • Nice to have: working ML understanding; time‑series data work; domain experience in energy, manufacturing, financial services, telecoms, healthcare or public sector
Engagement
