Salary: £50,000 - 68,000 per year

Requirements
  • We are looking for a self-starting IT professional with a proactive approach to problem solving and strong technical foundations.
  • We require a bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • We require 1-3 years of experience in IT system engineering or IT administration.
  • We need experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualisation technologies such as Hyper‑V or VMware.
  • We need an understanding of LAN/WAN, VPNs, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, switches, routing, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • We value experience renewing and refreshing IT hardware in a live environment, as well as backup solutions including version control and recovery.
  • An understanding of Operational Technology environments, including PLC, MES, and SCADA, is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
  • We support IT operations and infrastructure to ensure system availability, performance, and security.
  • We assist with infrastructure lifecycle projects and local and global IT initiatives.
  • We administer user accounts, permissions, and licensing across systems.
  • We implement and monitor cybersecurity measures aligned with group standards.
  • We create and maintain network topology, ensuring secure segmentation and segregation.
  • We work closely with local teams and central IT/OT stakeholders to maintain a robust and secure infrastructure.
  • We contribute to ongoing improvements and projects across the site.
