Main Purpose of The Role

We are looking for an Auction Debt Advisor to join our busy team. The role is to drive cash collections through positive engagement with our customers, providing best in class customer service to support the resolution of queries, minimising payment delays and ensuring the timely release of vehicles after point of payment.

Role Accountabilities
  • Debt Chasing: Chasing customer via phone and email to discuss late payments
  • Building relationships with customers to ensure payments are made without delays
  • Identify reasons for non-payment and support the process to resolve these
  • Escalate to the Legal Recoveries Manager any issues of concern
  • Legal Action : Where necessary refer accounts for further action, providing all relevant detail to our 3rd Party partners
  • Monitor legal action and recovery steps, supporting with any information requests and queries
  • Seeking approval for further action where additional costs need to be considered
  • Process Improvement : Continually challenge and question current processes to drive as streamlined service as possible, allowing us to deliver the best customer experience possible
Knowledge and Experience
  • Proven experience in a credit control or debt collection
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and to strict deadlines whilst managing multiple priorities

  • Configure and maintain key AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM) to ensure scalability, resilience and cost‑efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and design sessions with key stakeholders to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Support observability, monitoring, and alerting improvements leveraging CloudWatch, Datadog, Dynatrace, PagerDuty and native AWS tools.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify and implement opportunities for automation, performance optimisation, and enhanced developer experience.
  • Integrate with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) for secure identity management.
  • Contribute to clear, reusable documentation for architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay current with AWS innovations, security practices, and cost‑management techniques.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Proven experience delivering solutions in AWS using AWS CDK and Terraform (TypeScript preferred).

  • Planning of construction project and preparing a schedule in conjunction with the Line Manager.
  • Defining the projects goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure.
  • Conducting cost-benefit analysis, risk analysis, and also determining project feasibility.
  • Management of project activities throughout lifecycle, including the allocation of adequate resources, scheduling, documentation, budget, and other factors necessary for success.

  • Verifying the accuracy of change orders and ensuring change orders are approved.
  • Meeting with owners, professional team and all stakeholders in a professional manner to solicit feedback, input and expectations and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company.
  • Coordinating, managing and communicating with all stakeholders and effectively dealing with problems or challenges.
  • Overseeing total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Key Skills
  • Construction/property related degree or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant professional qualification in discipline covering building and construction.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in managing a portfolio of development projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Significant experience of the development process including building contracts, design and technical standards.
  • Experience of contract management, project management and change control.
