The Role
As Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will be responsible for:
Managing the commercial aspects of fit-out and roll-out projects from tender through to final account
Preparing accurate estimates and competitive tender submissions
Producing detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
Procuring subcontractors and obtaining competitive supplier quotations
Preparing interim valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts
Producing CVRs, cost reports, and commercial forecasts
Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Supporting project handovers from pre-construction through to successful delivery
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Quantity Surveyor / Estimator will have:
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or in a combined QS/Estimator role within the construction industry
Experience within commercial fit-out, interiors, roll-out programmes, joinery, or specialist subcontracting would be highly advantageous
Strong commercial awareness with excellent estimating ability
Experience preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
Good understanding of JCT contracts
Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to strengthen their commercial team.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will be responsible for:
Preparing accurate estimates and competitive tenders for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
Producing detailed quantity take-offs and cost plans
Procuring subcontractors and obtaining supplier quotations
Managing the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account
Preparing valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts
Monitoring project costs and producing commercial reports
Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Quantity Surveyor / Estimator will have:
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or in a dual commercial role within the construction industry
Experience within commercial fit-out, interior refurbishment, joinery, or specialist subcontracting would be highly advantageous
Strong commercial awareness and estimating ability
Experience preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
Strong Microsoft Excel and IT skills
A proactive, organised, and commercially driven approach
Full UK Driving Licence
