The Opportunity
This is much more than a Registered Manager position.
You will become the founding leader of a new service, working alongside a highly experienced Responsible Individual and supportive leadership team who are committed to investing in quality care and long-term growth. The organisation has plans to expand over the next 18-24 months, creating genuine opportunities for future progression and wider operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the home through Ofsted registration and opening

- Develop policies, procedures and operational systems
- Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, families and professionals

About You
To be considered, you will:
- Have experience as a Registered Manager within an Ofsted-regulated children's residential service
- Hold, or be working towards, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
- Possess a strong understanding of children's home regulations and Ofsted requirements
- Be a visible, hands-on leader who leads by example
- Be committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for children and young people

About the role
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you'll play a key part in the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function - from purchase and sales ledger work through to resident accounts, credit control, banking reconciliations and supporting month-end and audit processes. What you'll be doing as a Finance Assistant

- Working alongside the care home reception team to maintain resident personal accounts and expenses
- Supporting credit control, escalating overdue balances where appropriate

- Contributing to month-end tasks, audit preparation and ongoing process improvements
- Building strong working relationships across care, housing, property and head office teams
What we're looking for in a Finance Assistant
- A genuine team player with excellent attention to detail
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Someone who can work independently as well as collaboratively
- A great communicator, comfortable liaising with suppliers, residents, families and colleagues
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role would be an advantage, though a strong work ethic and willingness to learn matter just as much
