You will be responsible for designing, delivering and refining engaging gameplay systems in Unreal Engine , bringing fast-paced, immersive experiences to life in a 24/7 Live Service game.

Your Tasks
  • Pitch, design, and prototype relevant game systems and mechanics unsupervised.
  • Create and maintain clear design documentation, including feature specifications and implementation guidelines.
  • Own and develop engaging gameplay systems, activities and missions, ensuring successful delivery of features and content for each release.
  • Collaborate with artists, programmers, and other designers to integrate systems seamlessly into gameplay.
  • You know what you’re aiming for and can confidently & independently implement designs using Unreal Engine .
  • You observe and feedback on the game’s live service performance, tracking the features you own, spotting community hot topics, driving balancing decisions and delivering key updates.
  • Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and drive discussions around relevant features in design meetings.
Your Profile
  • Previous experience as a Senior Game Designer in the videogame industry with at least 1 shipped title , ideally in the shooter genre.
  • Capacity to work independently without supervision, owning features from end to end and course correcting where required.
  • Proven experience working in Unreal Engine .
  • Strong understanding of engaging hooks, player feedback, and pacing.
  • Passion and a strong interest in competitive and co-operative shooters.
  • Strong UX sensibility and ability to clearly communicate & document ideas.
  • Deep knowledge of rules, systems, and gameplay mechanics.
  • Strong Game Design skills in a LIVE/GaaS environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.

This role is for a highly self-directed level designer who takes full ownership of their work - someone who can independently drive levels from concept to release, make strong decisions without constant guidance, and consistently deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced, live service environment.

Your Tasks
  • Own and deliver high-quality levels across PvP, PvE, and Sandbox modes without supervision
  • Drive level design from concept through block-out, iteration, polish, and release
  • Create engaging multiplayer spaces that balance flow, readability, fairness, and tactical depth
  • Design PvE encounters that support pacing, difficulty curves, and co-operative gameplay
  • Build systemic sandbox environments that encourage player agency, experimentation, and emergent gameplay
  • Collaborate closely with design, art, engineering, and production teams, taking full accountability for quality, timelines, and outcome
  • Use playtesting, telemetry, and player feedback to iterate and refine maps post-launch
  • Deliver regular content updates in a live service environment , including seasonal drops, map variants, and limited-time modes
  • Establish and uphold best practices, pipelines, and documentation, raising the standard for ownership and delivery across the team
  • Proactively identify problems, propose solutions, and unblock yourself without waiting for direction
Your Profile
  • 5+ years of experience in level design, with at least one shipped FPS title
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating PvP, PvE, and Sandbox level design work
  • Proven track record of designing competitive multiplayer maps with strong flow, spawn logic, and balance unsupervised
  • Experience working independently, crafting PvE spaces with encounter design, AI placement, and narrative/environmental storytelling
  • Understanding of sandbox design principles, including systemic gameplay and player-driven outcomes
  • Experience working in a live service model , including post-launch content creation and iteration
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools (e.g., Unreal Engine, proprietary editors)
  • Strong understanding of player behavior, engagement loops, and retention strategies

Fenris Creations is looking for a Lead Environment Artist to join our London team and play a key role in shaping the visual benchmark for EVE Vanguard; a new multiplayer First Person Shooter experience, connected to the rich universe of EVE Online.

This is a hands‑on leadership role combining high‑level artistic ownership with team management and delivery responsibility.

The position will require you to define artistic and technical quality standards for 3D production, create benchmark assets and scenes, guide internal and external artists through clear feedback, and work closely with Art Direction, Tech Art, Design, Production, and Engineering to ensure our environments, props, materials, lighting, and world‑building achieve the right level of quality, clarity, and performance.

We’re looking for someone who can balance creative vision, team leadership, and production realities, and who is motivated to build and grow a high‑performing environment art team.

Your Tasks
  • Define and maintain artistic and technical quality standards for environment art
  • Lead and manage a team of environment artists, including mentoring, feedback, and performance development

  • Establish and improve scalable workflows for modelling, texturing, materials, scene assembly, and engine integration

  • Strong hands‑on production skills across modelling, UVs, texturing, materials, lighting, and scene assembly
  • Deep understanding of real‑time pipelines, ideally in Unreal Engine
