We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Full‑Time Chef to join our established catering team. Working across our club venues, including the stadium and training ground, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality food for players, guests, events and match days.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be involved in food preparation, presentation and service, while helping to maintain smooth kitchen operations and high standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook and serve food for match days, conferences and club events
  • Support the delivery of player meals across both the stadium and training ground
  • Assist the Sous Chef and step up when required
  • Contribute ideas to menu development, balancing quality and cost control
  • Ensure menus reflect seasonal produce and current food trends
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety compliance
  • Work closely with the wider catering team to deliver efficient service
  • Support kitchen organisation during busy periods, including coordinating casual staff

To develop and deliver high-quality education provision of BTEC National Sports & Performance Level 3. To take responsibility for maintaining and improving the education department, lesson planning, delivery and marking. Assist in the department's delivery to all players and ensure the department works effectively towards departmental KPIs.

Principal Accountabilities:

Teaching Duties

  1. Produce a curriculum plan and unit content checklist for BTEC National Sports and Performance qualification.
  2. Produce detailed schemes of work and lesson plans for BTEC National Sports and Performance qualification.
  3. Teach the BTEC National Sports and Performance qualification to Academy Apprentices.
  4. Provide each Academy Apprentice with appropriate feedback on the outcome of assessments.
  5. Complete reviews of progress for Academy Apprentices.
  6. Complete attendance records for Academy Apprentices.
  7. Attend meetings specific to the delivery of all qualifications.
  8. Contribute to quality assurance processes.
  9. Maintain robust administration and audit processes and ensure that all documentation for education is kept up to date and readily available, including providing up to date management information to the Head of Education and Head of Welfare and other senior managers.
  10. Proactively engage with parents through regular dialogue to support player development and maintain strong relationships.

ESSENTIAL ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree or professional qualification in a relevant subject
  • Teaching Qualification – QTS/QTLS
EXPERIENCE
  • Recent experience teaching
  • Experience of turning teaching topics into engaging content
  • Experience of providing a differentiated learning environment
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
  • Ability to motivate and influence learners and external parties to carry out required activities

Job Purpose

To lead the coaching provision for U15s-U16s academy age group. To maximise the development within this phase and help manage the transition to U18s football.

Report to

Academy Manager & Head of Coaching

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Plan, Do & Review the U15s - U16s coaching programme outlined in the club’s Academy Performance Plan
  • Plan, Do & Review the U15s - U16s Games Programme
  • Help create an “Extras Culture” for the players to maximise their available development time
  • Utilise the Multi-Disciplinary support departments to maximise the programme’s potential to develop the U15s - U16s players
  • Oversee 6 Weekly plans and reviews on player development, setting performance targets and creating specific individual development plans for each player
  • Oversee daily and weekly plans and reviews aligned to the individual development plans
  • Show positive IMPACT on the academy through self-development, player development and programme development
  • Assess performance of U15s - U16s players every 12 weeks
  • Own the “Team” elements of planning and reviewing training and games
  • Contribute to the recruitment, release and retain decisions of U15s - U16s players
  • Complete all Kitman Labs requirements for the U15s - U16s age groups
  • Aim for self-development by participating in internal and external CPD events
  • Organise Tours, Tournaments and Festivals to extend the games programme
  • Line Manage all part time coaches within the phase
  • Always have accountability and responsibility for safeguarding.
