Who you are
- Telesales/Phone-Based Sales Experience: You bring proven experience in telesales or phone-based sales.

What you’ll do

- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Partner with Customer Success, Marketing, Design, Editorial, and Operations to ensure optimal client experiences.
- Own Sales & Drive Closures: Take full ownership of the sales process and successfully close deals within your assigned therapy area.

- Commission: Uncapped 7%
- Reports to: Sales Manager
- Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Mon-Fri
- Location: This role is based onsite in our London/Moorgate office

What you’ll do:
- Shape and drive the editorial vision and strategy: Craft and implement a bold, forward-thinking editorial vision and strategy for EMJ/AMJ, ensuring high-quality and accurate content across all formats.
- Build & Lead Content Excellence: Establish and grow strong Editorial Boards, and mentor the editorial team to consistently deliver world-class, engaging content.
- Champion Innovative Audience Engagement: Drive audience growth and engagement through innovative content formats like interactive articles and digital campaigns, leveraging trending topics and SEO best practices.
- Cultivate Key Relationships & Collaboration: Develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and collaborate effectively with key clients, including hosting webinars and discussions.
- Expand EMJ's Reach & Impact: Explore new therapeutic areas and medical fields to broaden EMJ’s reach and influence within the healthcare industry.
- Become ‘the face’ of EMJ : Be the recognised leader and accountable for all editorial performance, managing KPIs and processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistent delivery.
Key Information
- Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Mon-Fri
- Working pattern: Up to 2 days flexibility to work from home (FT in office during probation)
- Reporting to: CEO
- Location: Our buzzing London/Moorgate office
We offer a hybrid work environment, balancing office and remote work. To support your training and development during your initial three-month probation, this period will be fully office-based, five days a week. Following this, we anticipate a regular office presence of at least three days a week to maintain collaboration and team connection.

- Process Improvement: Support the creation, documentation, and continuous improvement of business processes, procedures, and operational checklists.
- KPI Reporting & Analysis: Produce daily and weekly KPI reports for the entire Sales department.
- Monthly Analysis: Conduct in-depth monthly analysis of key metrics by territory and overall performance.
- Lead Distribution: Manage and distribute incoming marketing and editorial leads to the appropriate Sales team members in a timely and organized manner.
- New Joiner Onboarding: Assist with onboarding schedules and coordination for new team members, ensuring a smooth and effective integration into the department.
- Salary: £30,000
- Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Mon‑Fri
- Location: This role is based onsite in our London/Moorgate office
