Job Description
Salary: £25,000 - 29,000 per year
- We require a minimum of 2 years experience in IT support.
- We are looking for familiarity with hardware components including laptops, desktops, servers, storage devices, and network devices.
- We need someone who can work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- The ability to travel to client sites as needed is required.
- Applicants must live in or close to Swansea, Wales, and be able to reliably commute or relocate before starting.
- Applicants must be available for a roster that includes weekend working.
- Candidates must have current working rights in the United Kingdom.
- We will have you provide first- and second-line technical support to our customers as part of our support desk team.
- We will have you support hardware equipment including laptops, desktops, servers, storage devices, and network devices.
- We will have you support a wide range of software across multiple industries.
- You will carry out on-site visits for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
- You will elevate issues to Senior Technicians or vendors when necessary.
- You will maintain knowledge of the latest hardware and software trends and technologies.
- You will communicate with customers in person and by phone, providing clear advice and support.
- You will respond promptly to service issues and requests.
- You will work collaboratively with the team and take a proactive approach to problem-solving.
