Our client is a rapidly-growing organisation within the well-established payments sector and have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to join the team.

About The Company:

Our client is a well-established payments business who are going through a huge period of growth; due to successful strategy, investment in technology and a number of acquisitions, they have doubled in size over the last 3 years.

Senior Account Manager The Role:

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of the company’s biggest clients. You will be charged with maintaining and growing revenue of these key accounts through looking for opportunities including organic growth and the up selling and cross selling of other products. You will be expected to develop a more in-depth understanding of your client base and create strategies to tie this knowledge into the client’s product suite. This is a very fast paced opportunity requiring strong commercial skills coupled with excellent business acumen.

Senior Account Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be acting as a first point of contact to key accounts and will need to gain a strong understanding of their road map to help them to succeed by utilising a strong solutions based, consultative approach
  • You will create and develop strong strategic account plans to develop strong relationships that will ensure long term long term profitable relationships and strong retention of key accounts
  • Develop opportunities to Cross Sell products within the account portfolio
  • You will be involved in developing and presenting new value propositions to both new and existing clients
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to provide feedback on performance and opportunities
  • Keep the system up to date to enable monitoring of these keys accounts to ensure targets are met
  • You will also be a strong internal communicator, developing relationships with relevant areas of the business such as Risk, Compliance and Product to best support your clients to upsell effectively
  • Act as a key player within the business, helping to advise and mentor more junior members
  • Provide training and support both internally and externally on key technology products
  • Ensure that the company is kept abreast of customer feedback to help ensure that the Product team etc can identify new features to keep the company at the forefront of technology
  • Attend marketing or industry events and Trade Shows which can strengthen relationships and provide knowledge to develop accounts

Senior Account Manager You:

  • A strong track record in account management, with demonstrable ability to grow your account base
  • Someone with experience of working on key, high value, premium accounts
  • Knowledge of the Payments industry desirable but not essential for someone with an excellent track record and a desire to learn
  • A strong team player with the ability to develop relationships internally and externally
  • An ability to understand technical products
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Salesforce desirable, not essential
