Job Description

Senior Service Designer

Salary: £60,000-65,000 + benefits package and discretionary bonus

London - Hybrid, usually one day a week in the office

We’re looking for a mid-level Service Designer to join an established in-house design team inside a medium-sized banking group.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing clarity to messy service journeys, working closely with stakeholders and helping delivery teams turn insight into practical improvements.

For the first 12 months, you’ll mainly work across Premium Finance, improving journeys, processes and operational moments that shape the customer experience across onboarding, servicing, account changes, complaints, internal workflows and customer communications.

The strategy and roadmap are already in place, so the focus is execution: mapping what exists, finding the friction, facilitating the right conversations and turning research and insight into work the teams can act on.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll work across customer journeys, internal processes and delivery teams to improve services with real operational complexity.
  • Mapping customer journeys, lifecycles and service blueprints
  • Helping teams understand where customers, colleagues or processes are getting stuck
  • Supporting workshops with stakeholders, BAs, engineers and delivery teams
  • Turning research and insight into clear service design outputs
  • Creating practical artefacts that help teams make decisions
  • Using storytelling to explain problems, opportunities and recommendations clearly
  • This is not a UX/UI role. The focus is customer journey thinking, service improvement and making complex operational experiences easier to understand and improve.

You’ll probably be a good fit if you:

  • Have around 4–5 years’ experience in service design, CX strategy, customer experience, consultancy or an in-house design team
  • Have worked on services or journeys with some operational complexity
  • Can show examples of journey maps, service blueprints, lifecycle maps, workshop outputs or similar artefacts
  • Are comfortable working with research or insight, even if you wouldn’t describe yourself as a researcher
  • Enjoy working with stakeholders and delivery teams, not just other designers
  • Can bring structure to ambiguity without overcomplicating things
  • Financial services experience is not essential. Backgrounds in utilities, telecoms, insurance, public sector, B2B/B2C services, customer operations or other complex service environments could all be relevant.

The team and environment

You’ll be joining an established Experience Strategy & Design team made up of insight, service and product design specialists.

The team is well regarded internally and works closely with product owners, business architects, engineers, operational excellence leads and digital teams. You won’t have line management responsibility, but you will help guide people through the design process.

The role is London-based, with one day a week in the office. Tuesdays are preferred but not rigid. There may be occasional travel to Doncaster, but this is expected to be minimal.

The process

The process is likely to be two stages.

The first stage will cover your CV, motivations and a portfolio or case study discussion.

Job Description

Futureheads have exclusively partnered to find two Associate Product Managers for a property‑tech SaaS company with a really exciting safety‑led mission. These roles sit in a small, high‑impact product team that’s rebuilding the platform and leaning hard into AI‑native ways of working.

What you’ll do

  • Own end‑to‑end product workstreams: shaping problems, writing clear tickets, and working closely with engineers to get high‑quality features into users’ hands.
  • Turn stakeholder conversations and messy requirements into structured problem statements, simple flows and testable hypotheses.
  • Use AI tools (especially Claude Code) every day to draft requirements, prototype UX flows, generate and refine epics and stories, and maintain a living product knowledge base.
  • Sit close to design and engineering, helping keep delivery moving: planning, refinement, stand‑ups, and unblocking as you go.
  • Track impact after launch – looking at usage, feedback and data to decide what to improve next, not just what to build now.

What we’re looking for

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a product role or product‑led environment (PM, APM or Product Owner) if you have tranistioned to product you must have atleast 1 year of core product experience
  • Genuine, hands‑on AI experience : using Claude Code (ideal) or similar tools to actually build things – prototypes, scripts, workflows, automations – either at work or in your own time. Just “asking ChatGPT questions” isn’t enough; we’re looking for tangible examples of you using AI to do real product work.
  • Comfortable working side‑by‑side with engineers: managing a backlog, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and resolving ambiguity quickly.
  • Strong written communication – you can write tickets, briefs and status updates that others can act on without coming back with questions.
  • Someone who likes clarity, structure and follow‑through : you keep yourself organised, close loops, and care that what ships actually solves the problem you set out to fix.
  • Curious, low‑ego and collaborative – happy to ask questions, challenge with evidence, and help shape how an AI‑native product practice should run.
  • you will be in the office 4 days a week until you get the hang of ways of working then it will move to 3 post probation

Job Description

Futureheads have partnered with a fast-growing, much-loved gifting brand to find a Head of Ecommerce. In a category all about bringing joy and togetherness, this business is scaling fast and doing it with genuine heart, pairing a warm, feel-good brand with serious commercial ambition. As they continue to evolve, ecommerce sits right at the centre of how they acquire customers, drive retention, and grow online, and this role owns that performance end to end.

This is a brilliant role for someone who's equally comfortable owning the P&L and getting hands-on in the detail of day-to-day trading. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you'll have full accountability for online performance across both the Shopify website and marketplaces (Amazon in particular), leading the ecommerce team and working hand in hand with marketing, brand and operations to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Owning ecommerce revenue, P&L, conversion rate, AOV and profitability targets, including sales forecasting for budgeting, seasonal peaks and day-to-day procurement
  • Overseeing day-to-day trading through the Ecommerce Manager, monitoring performance against forecast and acting fast on risks and opportunities
  • Owning online acquisition across SEO and PPC, setting strategy and targets with channel specialists, and keeping paid and organic aligned to commercial goals
  • Taking full ownership of Amazon performance (sales, TACOS, profitability), leading PPC, listings, content and pricing, and driving visibility, ranking and conversion through best-in-class marketplace execution
  • Ensuring strong in-stock performance across the Amazon range and providing demand forecasts to support stock planning and protect ranking
  • Owning the end-to-end online customer journey, delivering CRO initiatives with design and development, and letting data and testing drive every decision
  • Leading and developing the ecommerce team, providing clear direction, structure and accountability, and building capability for future growth
  • Aligning onsite experience with retention activity (email, loyalty, lifecycle) alongside the Brand and Customer team

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience in an ecommerce leadership role, ideally within a DTC or retail business
  • Strong commercial mindset, comfortable owning revenue and profitability targets
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce metrics (conversion, AOV, CAC, LTV) and the ability to turn insight into action
  • Strong experience managing an Amazon marketplace channel, across both organic and paid performance drivers
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Bonus points for experience in seasonal or peak-driven ecommerce, gifting or luxury brands, Shopify, and selling across D2C, D2B and international

PRODUCT MANAGER - ALPHA PHASE, PUBLIC SECTOR DIGITAL SERVICE

Rate: £478/day (Inside IR35)

A specialist digital consultancy is looking for an experienced Product Manager to shape the alpha phase of a public-facing guidance tool. The product will help parents and schools understand and manage the complaints process, building on insights from a discovery phase completed earlier this year. This is a hands-on product role within a multidisciplinary agile team, running through to mid-October with potential to extend.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Owning the product vision and roadmap for the alpha phase, translating discovery findings into clear hypotheses to test and validate
  • Defining and prioritising the backlog, making tough calls on what's in and out of scope to deliver meaningful outcomes within the alpha window
  • Working closely with user researchers and designers to ensure the product is grounded in real user needs from parents, schools, and the wider complaints ecosystem
  • Collaborating with the Delivery Manager to balance ambition with pragmatism and keep the team focused
  • Engaging with client stakeholders to align on priorities, manage expectations, and build confidence in the product direction
  • Making evidence-based decisions on which prototypes and concepts to take forward, kill, or iterate on
  • Ensuring the alpha meets GDS service standard assessment criteria and is set up for a strong beta case
  • Communicating the product story clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager on public sector digital services, ideally through alpha or beta phases
  • Strong understanding of GDS service standards and user-centred design principles

Job Description

100% remote within the UK /

Futureheads have partnered with a modern, vibrant start-up that’s changing the way global brands build a deeper understanding of their customers through market research.

Founded by three digital agency leaders, this fast-growing full-service agency brings together both quantitative and qualitative insight work for exciting names across gaming, finance, sportswear, and more. Their approach is bold, modern, and refreshingly different, and they’re focused on delivering meaningful, data-led insights that genuinely help their clients grow.

They’ve recently won a number of exciting new projects and are now looking for a Project Manager who is comfortable working across both quantitative and qualitative research. They would also be open to people from a broader agency project management background, especially if you’ve had exposure to quant and qual research even if you haven’t worked in a pure research environment before. A strong understanding of project management fundamentals is essential.

About the opportunity

You’ll be joining a collaborative team of market research and business experts, playing a key role in keeping complex research projects running smoothly. From coordinating internal teams and external partners to making sure delivery stays on track, you’ll help ensure each project is managed efficiently and with real attention to quality.

This is a chance to join a high-performing central project management function, working closely with senior leaders across research, product, and fieldwork. The team is small, knowledgeable, and full of character, so they’re looking for someone who can bring energy, confidence, and a hands-on approach from day one. You’ll have plenty of autonomy, but you’ll also need to be comfortable jumping in quickly and taking ownership. One of their big goals is to focus on forward planning during this busy time so if you enjoy analysing future work and co-ordinating teams and setting out plans of attack then thats a huge pus

What you’ll do

  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and workshops.
  • Oversee delivery, remove blockers, and make sure research milestones are met.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them updated and raising risks where needed.
  • Coordinate with a dedicated team of lead and junior researchers, project managers, and specialists.
  • Support and guide newer team members on ways of working and key processes.
  • Manage research fieldwork with panel providers and marketplace partners.
  • Lead team meetings, track progress, and help create case studies that highlight project outcomes.

What we looking for

  • Proven project management experience in a fast-paced market research, agency, or wider commercial setting.
  • A solid grounding in project management fundamentals, with experience using MS Project, Gantt-style tools, or similar systems for planning rather than relying on Excel alone.
  • Experience running RAGs, financial reconciliation, and other core project controls.
  • Strong fieldwork experience.
  • Ideally, experience with brand trackers and/or segmentation projects.
  • Confidence managing multiple research projects with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including fieldwork teams.
  • Excellent organisation and a strong eye for detail.
  • Strong client communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships from start to finish in a professional but personable way.
  • The ability to motivate, support, and mentor others, whether they’re more experienced or newer to the team.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to spot issues early and solve problems quickly.
  • Experience using tools such as MS Excel, and formal project management training such as PRINCE2, Scrum, Lean, or Kanban.
  • Open to candidates from agency, research, or commercial backgrounds — energy, initiative, and personality will go a long way with this intelligent and collaborative team.
  • Ideally available to start within the next two weeks.

Senior Motion Designer

Job Description

Senior / Lead Motion Designer

AI B2B SaaS Scale-up

Salary: £60,000-90,000 DOE

Remote (in the UK or within 1-2 hours of London time)

We’re working with a fast-growing B2B AI company on a Senior / Lead Motion Designer role and it’s a lovely one for someone who wants motion to sit closer to the heart of the brand and product experience, not just as a finishing touch on campaign assets.

They’ve built a product used by a large global customer base to help businesses find, reach and convert customers. It looks simple from the outside, but underneath there’s a lot going on across AI, automation, customer data, deliverability, campaign tooling and product workflows.

They’re now at the point where the experience needs to feel more crafted, more distinctive and more alive across the places where customers first meet the brand and the moments where they interact with the product.

This is a motion role across brand, communications and product. You’d be helping bring campaigns, launches, product explainers, website moments, social content and customer-facing stories to life, while also thinking about how motion can make the product itself feel smoother, clearer and more considered.

The useful bit: motion is not being treated as decoration here. There’s room to shape how it works, where it adds value and how it helps a technically complex product feel easier to understand, more memorable and more enjoyable to use.

You’ll probably be a good fit if you have:

  • Senior or lead-level experience in motion design
  • Strong craft across animation, pacing, composition, storytelling and visual design
  • Experience creating motion for tech, SaaS, AI, fintech, productivity tools or complex digital products
  • A portfolio with polished motion work that shows clear thinking, not just polished execution
  • Good judgement around when motion adds clarity and when it gets in the way
  • Confidence working across brand communications, product UI and senior stakeholders
  • Comfort shaping motion from a fairly early stage, rather than simply applying an established system

This could suit a Senior Motion Designer, Lead Motion Designer, Motion / Brand Designer, Creative Motion Designer, Product Motion Designer, Interaction Motion Designer or a senior designer with a strong motion specialism.
