Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead their Stores and Warehouse function. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about operational excellence, inventory accuracy and continuous improvement.
As Warehouse Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the efficient operation of the Stores department, ensuring products are received, stored, controlled and dispatched accurately and on time. You will lead and develop a dedicateAd team, drive high standards of performance and quality, and play a key role in supporting business objectives and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and stores function, including goods-in, storage, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Manage, coach and develop the Stores team, creating a culture of accountability, engagement and high performance.
- Oversee inventory management, stock accuracy and stock rotation processes.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and implement effective corrective actions.
- Work closely with Production and Supply Chain teams to ensure customer orders are shipped in line with delivery targets.
- Monitor, analyse and report operational performance data and key KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Lean principles to optimise productivity and reduce waste.
- Coordinate and lead stock-take activities.
- Act as the subject matter expert for warehouse-related ERP system processes.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, GDPR and company policies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven warehouse or stores management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong inventory control and stock management expertise.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, including experience with recruitment, performance management and employee development.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Experience implementing and improving processes, procedures and systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Specifically, accountable for:
- Technical evaluations within local plants including the UK, for EU/Group led projects.
- Process Engineering support within local and EU plants.
- Technical evaluations of Prototype products and materials.
- Support technical requirements of EU specification products.
