Senior Print Supply Performance Manager Responsibilities- Set and manage daily and weekly product allocation processes, overseeing subscriptions fulfilment and international distribution for Guardian Weekly
- Lead supply chain modernisation projects and partner initiatives to improve availability, reduce costs, and support retail growth
- Act as the key contact for UK wholesalers, distributors and retailers, solving supply and financial issues
- Adjust supply based on sales trends, promotions and seasonal patterns, reducing unsold copies without impacting sales
- Report on sales performance across all print products
- Contribute to the annual budget process and quarterly re‑forecasting
- Track issues raised by CX across all print products and ensure they are resolved with distributors
- Proven expertise in driving performance in ongoing subscription businesses
- Hands‑on operator able to run a complex, daily process reliably, ideally with print media experience
- Commercially minded and understands sales versus waste trade‑offs
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and multiple data sources to solve problems and report clear conclusions
- Confident dealing with partners and willing to challenge when needed
- Structured problem solver with proven project management capability to lead supply chain initiatives
- High attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to data accuracy
Hybrid model: 3 days a week from our offices in Kings Cross and 2 days a week remotely.

We are now looking for a Lead Project Manager to join our Advertising team for a 12 month fixed‑term contract.
About the role- Manage campaigns from initial ideas to post‑campaign analysis, working closely alongside the advertising project management team and Guardian Studios teams to ensure timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Support the pre‑sales and pitch process for multichannel campaigns, with a focus on audio and video, working closely with sales, project management and Guardian studio leads.
- Produce cost estimates and delivery schedules to ensure appropriate margin and accurate forecasting, working closely with key internal stakeholders to manage the campaign budgets. This will involve close coordination with the advertising project management teams.
- Responsible for working closely with the team’s planning and delivering video‑first, personality‑led journalism projects, delivering commercial elements and client campaigns, ensuring brand integration is authentic and considered throughout.
- Extensive hands‑on, end‑to‑end multimedia or project management experience, preferably within a publisher, broadcaster, production company or agency environment.
- Experience supporting commercial pre‑sales processes and building project budgets for multimedia campaigns.
- Demonstrable experience of managing complex stakeholder groups across editorial and commercial teams.
- Working knowledge of video production workflows, rights and licensing considerations.

We are now looking for a Multimedia Systems Developer to join our growing Multimedia team. The Multimedia Systems Developer will play a critical role in developing and operating the production platform used daily by multimedia teams at The Guardian to create and publish audio and video content across our UK, Australia and US offices. You will work on the in-house applications and integrations editorial staff rely on, the AWS infrastructure and automation behind them, and the media management systems that underpin them.
You will collaborate with engineers, editorial users, infrastructure teams and external vendors to keep the platform reliable, secure and able to scale as multimedia production grows. The multimedia platform stack includes Go, TypeScript, React and Electron.
About the role- Collate, design, develop, configure, test and release high quality software that supports the evolving requirements of the multimedia editorial teams.
- Build and operate event-driven services and integrations on AWS, ensuring solutions delivered are reliable, supportable and maintainable.
- Maintain the AWS infrastructure and automation behind the platform, including compute, storage, networking and media-processing services.
- Perform technology upgrades and ensure architectural stability across the platform.
- Diagnose and fix bugs in a timely manner based on priority, using log-based troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Work with editorial stakeholders and, with guidance from the Multimedia Tech Product Manager, ensure systems continue to meet their needs and evolve the roadmap as required.
- Proactively share knowledge, peer-review colleagues’ work and contribute to clear technical documentation.
- Proven experience as a software developer, systems engineer or similar role, building and operating production systems
- Strong programming ability in at least one modern language in the platform stack, with the aptitude to become productive across others.
- The platform stack includes Go, TypeScript, React and Electron.
- Experience with REST API design and integration with third-party platforms
- Hands-on experience with AWS (or an equivalent cloud platform), including compute, storage, networking and IAM
- Experience designing event-driven, asynchronous systems on AWS (e.g. Lambda, SQS, webhook-driven integrations) and an understanding of the failure modes of distributed processing
- Confident working in Linux environments: command line, systemd, networking, performance tuning and log-based troubleshooting
- Familiarity with standard engineering workflow: Git, pull requests, code review and CI/CD pipelines
- A practical security mindset around patching, dependency hygiene and least-privilege access
- Collaborative approach, with a willingness to share knowledge, peer-review work and support colleagues
- Understanding of, or strong interest in, multimedia production workflows.
