We are looking to speak to experienced hire controllers/hire administrators to join a successful and growing container hire and sales business in Hamilton. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, building strong relationships, understanding their hire needs and ensuring we can meet them. This is a challenging, fast paced and rewarding role that provides a fantastic platform to grow and progress your career within the Hire Industry
You must have a strong administrative background and great customer service skills to adapt within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You will be responsible for answering customer enquiries quickly and efficiently, completing all administrative coordination and ensuring customer requirements are met.

Are you an experienced Hire and Sales Controller looking for a new opportunity? Do you have experience providing excellent customer service within a fast-paced environment? Do you want to join a well-established and experienced team?

You must have a strong administrative background and great customer service skills to adapt within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You will be responsible for answering customer enquiries quickly and efficiently, coordinating orders and enquiries for modular buildings and multi-cabin site establishments, ensuring smooth project delivery and excellent service. You will liaise with other members of the project team co-ordinating activities between customers, workshops, transport, subcontractors and support departments to ensure smooth project execution.

- Experience within a customer focused environment, preferably within Hire/Construction
- Well organised, with the ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- Previous experience in planning, managing, and coordinating project activities to meet deadlines is highly advantageous.

My client, a leader in temporary power solutions, is currently looking to recruit a Depot Administrator in Glasgow to join their dynamic team. The company supports a diverse range of sectors including events, touring, and industrial projects. From music festivals and film sets to construction sites and utilities, your daily interactions with customers will involve understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.
As a Depot Administrator, you will:
- Provide excellent customer service, generate quotes, and convert them into contracts.
- Respond to customer requests and queries promptly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with the sales team and other internal departments.
- Plan and coordinate transport movements to and from customer sites.
- Accurately process daily tasks related to on/off hire, exchanges, and breakdowns.
- Maintain the service log and actively promote products/services to maximise revenue.
Salary 26.5K to 29K plus unlimited overtime earning opportunities.
Holiday entitlement increasing annually with options to buy and carry forward holidays.
On-site parking.
