The Pensions Implementation Project Support role is to support the Implementation Project Management team in the onboarding of new schemes and managing the process of transitioning the scheme into the "business as usual" ("BAU") administration teams, including the set‑up of administration operational functions. Successful implementations are critical for enabling the BAU teams to provide efficient and accurate BAU service at Go‑Live dates.
The successful candidate will report to the Project Implementation Lead within the Implementations team. The Implementations team is a national team and part of the Client Onboarding and Change function which sits within the Administration service line. The candidate will liaise with various internal key stakeholders, including the Administration, Accounts, Payroll and Systems teams, as well as liaising with the incumbent administrators.
This role can be based in our Birmingham, Reading, Manchester, Croydon, Bristol, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow or Belfast office with a hybrid workstyle.
What does the role entail?- Drafting of data and documentation requests
- Attendance at team, incumbent and trustee meetings (if applicable) to prepare minutes and take forward actions
- Drafting of communications to members and all other parties associated with the scheme
- Set‑up of phone line, email inbox, letters
- Involvement in handover of schemes to Admin BAU team

Due to a busy period of growth we are looking for additional Administration Assistants to join our Admin Shared Services department – Central Services Team on a fixed term contract.
The Central Services Team Mission is “to effectively triage all incoming member enquiries. We will maximise first time resolution where possible and index all other queries to appropriate workflows/technical teams. We are committed to delivering seamless, once and done services for non-automated/non-technical/low-complexity transactions across all channels and schemes with accuracy and care”.
Your role is to support our pension scheme administration service by offering first-line inbound call support, processing incoming post (both digital and hardcopy), updating records, inputting data and general office/clerical duties. You will be responsible for following processes closely and ensuring work is delivered to a high standard at all times. This role is vital to the BAU function of pensions administration within Isio.
You’ll work with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service, a high volume and high accuracy of work and, ultimately, an excellent support service to the admin BAU teams across the country while ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
The role involves dealing with confidential information therefore a high level of discretion and professionalism is essential. You must also be able to work well under pressure during busy periods when the volume of incoming post and in-bound calls can increase substantially.
No prior pension administration experience is needed as all training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will already have experience of working in an office environment, have excellent customer service and computer skills and be able to process work to a very high standard.
This role is fully office based in our Manchester city centre office.
What does the role entail?- Opening and processing post.
- Scanning and indexing documents and digital images.
- Answering inbound calls and resolving queries.
- Prioritising work to ensure delivery in accordance with client Service Level Agreements.
- Processing member events within specific timeframes and ensuring compliance with internal standards and scheme and legislative rules.
- Producing letters, emails and reports based on set templates as well as producing bespoke letters and emails where required.

- Keeping up to date with procedural, technical and scheme changes.
