Payroll Administrator
Location: Biggleswade
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Working Pattern: Office-Based (5 Days Per Week)
The Opportunity
A growing accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join its busy payroll team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with accountancy practice experience who enjoys managing multiple client payrolls and delivering a high level of service.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client payrolls, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with current legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing multiple client payrolls from start to finish
- Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
- Processing starters, leavers and statutory payments
- Managing pension contributions and auto-enrolment
- Submitting RTI returns to HMRC
- Responding to client payroll queries
- Maintaining accurate payroll records
- Liaising with HMRC, pension providers and third parties
- Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation
- Supporting the wider payroll team as required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' payroll experience within an Accountancy Practice
- Experience managing multiple client payrolls
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
- BrightPay experience is essential
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Qualifications

An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its successful Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional looking to manage a varied and high-quality caseload whilst benefiting from hybrid working, strong administrative support and genuine long-term career progression.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently whilst delivering exceptional client service.

- Freehold and Leasehold Sales & Purchases
- New Build Properties
- Shared Ownership Transactions
- Remortgages
- Transfers of Equity
- Auctions
- Unregistered Land
- Transfers of Part
- Lease Extensions and Enfranchisement Matters
- Residential Property Transactions
- Land Registry Applications
- SDLT Submissions
- Title Investigations
You will liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, lenders and third parties to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently whilst maintaining compliance with SRA, CQS and internal procedures.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner
- Minimum 4 years' PQE within Residential Conveyancing
- Proven ability to independently manage a busy caseload
- Strong technical knowledge of Residential Property Law
- Experience handling Freehold, Leasehold, New Build and Remortgage transactions
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and billing targets
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
- High attention to detail and compliance standards
