We are currently looking for an experienced Spray Painter to join our production team at Eden Fabrications, offering the flexibility of a 4- or 5-day working week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing products for surface finishing and applying coatings in line with individual project specifications. A strong knowledge of paint spraying techniques and excellent attention to detail are essential to ensure high-quality, durable finishes that meet required thickness, colour, and finish standards.

Previous experience in fire painting would be advantageous.


Responsibilities

  • Follow work instructions for each individual project to ensure specification compliance
  • Remove rust and loose materials using a wire brush or appropriate equipment
  • Fill, sand, and smooth surfaces prior to spraying
  • Mask areas not requiring paint using tape and coverings where necessary
  • Select and mix required coating liquids
  • Select and attach correct spray nozzles to achieve the desired finish
  • Spray machines, products, and wall areas using industry-standard techniques
  • Clean spray cans, nozzles, and spraying equipment after each job
  • Inspect finished coatings once dry to ensure quality standards are met, in line with BS EN 1090
  • Wear appropriate PPE at all times


Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in a relevant or similar spray painting role
  • Experience in fire painting is desirable but not essential

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly specialist clinical or counselling psychologist or psychotherapist within the Psycho-oncology team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. We are looking to appoint an empathic, enthusiastic and dynamic psychological practitioner to contribute to the provision of a specialist psychology service for patients with cancer across all sectors of cancer care at ICHT. This is a fixed term maternity leave cover post within a large, established, friendly and supportive team of psychologists and psychotherapists working across cancer and oncology services.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will work individually and systemically to support patients, carers and staff from diverse backgrounds throughout the cancer pathway, alongside working to foster a psychologically safe environment within cancer services. They will contribute to Level 2 teaching and supervision for specialist cancer staff as well as provide training, consultation and reflective practice as appropriate. The postholder will undertake service evaluation, audit and research as required and work as an autonomous professional within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct, guided by the policies and procedures of the service. Supervision and management will be provided by one of the experienced senior psychologists within the psychology team and there will be opportunities to link and work alongside other psychologists and psychotherapists working in other medical specialities within the broader ICHT Clinical Health Psychology Department.

Desirable candidates may have particular interests in third wave therapies (i.e., ACT, CFT), adjustment and coping in acute and chronic illness, systemic and narrative approaches, trauma informed models and approaches, attachment, existentialism, models of loss and grief and non-diagnostic approaches to understanding distress (e.g., the PTMF), amongst other therapeutic approaches. The postholder will have access to CPD and training offered through CNWL, as well as other training opportunities.

Job responsibilities Clinical and Client Care
  • To provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for patients with cancer across all sectors of cancer care at ICHT.
  • To provide culturally appropriate psychological interventions with carers or families of referred patients when required and as appropriate.
  • To assess and monitor risk and draw up appropriate risk management plans.
  • To act as liaison on the patient pathway, between the acute hospital, primary care and community services as necessary for the psychological well‑being of the patient.

  • Coordinate electrical design with other disciplines (MEP and our specialist groups) and third‑party consultants.
  • Review and comment on technical information provided by contractors and sub‑contractors; check site installations against the design intent.
  • Attend and report at design team meetings, client meetings and project meetings.
  • Witness selected testing and commissioning activities and support handover documentation.
  • Manage own workload to meet programme deliverables and report progress to your line manager.
  • Contribute to the professional development of junior colleagues.

Additional responsibilities for Senior Engineer:

  • Develop briefs and take responsibility for delivering a small project or the electrical discipline on a significant/complex scheme.
  • Exercise considerable autonomy and take ownership for technical decisions and project delivery within cost constraints.
  • Delegate, manage and check work undertaken by others; mentor and motivate colleagues across project teams.
  • Play an active role in commercial aspects (scope, risk, cost control) and ensure outputs meet project and budgetary requirements.
About you

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Building Services Engineering; industry membership preferred.
  • Working towards or holding IEng/CEng.
  • Strong technical competence in LV distribution, lighting, earthing/protection and emergency/standby systems; able to produce calculations and drawings.
  • Proficient with industry software (Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux, OM Electrical) and MS Office.
  • Able to work independently: deliver an element of a project (Engineer) or lead discipline/small projects and larger schemes (Senior).
  • Effective communicator with experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and liaising with clients/contractors.
  • Experience of site checking, witnessing testing/commissioning and reviewing contractor submissions.
  • Demonstrable commitment to meeting programmes and quality standards; commercially aware.
  • Supportive team player who mentors junior staff and pursues continuous professional development (Senior expected to supervise; Engineer to support).

Looking for a newly created, standalone HR Manager role offering variety, autonomy and a huge reward factor from being able to develop new processes, initiatives and really make the role your own?

In this pivotal role, you'll be HR Manager in a small, but growing business - with the goal of ensuring smooth HR operations as well as working closely with the owners on new HR ideas (which are encouraged).

Excitingly, there are many projects to get off the ground as well as managing day-to-day HR queries, areas of responsibility will include:

  • Employee onboarding and preboarding
  • Management of HR activities and ensuring compliance to legislation and internal policies and procedures
  • HR System - administration and maintenance
  • Employee relations including performance management
  • Internal HR/company-wide communication sessions
  • Wellbeing initiatives
  • HR reporting
  • Payroll coordination (not processing - preparation only
  • Part of the Senior Leadership Team with active contribution in meetings

We're looking for a proactive problem-solver, who is an organised, forward-thinking HR professional as well being a self-starter that can work collaboratively with Directors to set and achieve combined goals.

As this is a standalone role, we are looking for someone who is happy to cover all levels of HR from the senior more strategic work, to the admin - and then everything in between.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be CIPD qualified and used to working at senior HR advisor/generalist or Manager level.

Experience of using BrightHR would be useful but not essential.
