About The Role:Project Manager with experience delivering minor works projects, collaborating effectively with internal project teams and client stakeholders to develop and implement long-term project strategies. Proven ability to identify growth opportunities, build strong stakeholder relationships, and support the transition to larger, more complex projects while ensuring successful delivery of programme objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of aspects of technical, asset management, safety and risk management including auditing and compliance reporting.

- Excellent IT skills including standard MS programs (Excel, Word, Projects,Office365, PowerPoint).
- Educated to foundation degree, and technically qualified in a relevant building services or engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, built environment), Incorporated/Chartered Engineer Status (or evidence of working towards) would be desirable
- A relevant project management and H&S qualification e.g. (APMP, PMQ, PRINCE 2, MSP, ISOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH).
- Able to build strong and collaborative relationships with key customers and clients, an ability to quickly grasp their needs and an ability to galvanise resources to satisfy clients demands, to support account development and long-term sustainable and profitable tenure.
- Ability to plan and organise work effectively to meet changing environments and needs.
- A driver of people and projects with very strong commercial and financial acumen, with a track record of achievement on complex and demanding contracts and accounts.

As the Waste Operations Manager, you will manage the operational services, ensuring exceptional service levels are maintained and customer needs are met. The Operations Manager will implement, guide and control operational safety, performance, quality and cost effectiveness in line with company policy and procedures and ensure the cost-effective management of the services on the contract, including waste collections Hazardous/Non-Hazardous, road sweeping, tanker works and ancillary services whilst operating in line with compliance, legislation requirements and customer satisfaction levels.
- Carry out site inspections and waste quality audits to ensure standards are being maintained within the waste yards across the client sites. Assist the client with internal/External environmental ISO14001/45001 H&S audits. Act as the subject matter expert to educate and guide key stakeholders on waste topics and requests.
- Ensure the teams fully utilise the capacity of all waste provisions/containers, manage the collections from site in a timely manner and control unnecessary expenditure. Manage the waste operational performance of the contract and the adherence of KPIs to ensure financial penalties are not applied
- Responsibility for management, development and discipline of waste supervisors and operatives across all sites. Support contract management team where required to ensure staff achieve required results.
- Management of waste contractors in line with SLAs and KPIs to ensure smooth removal of waste from site, completing the clients internal waste removal documentation and collating relevant documentation to support reporting, validation financial management and invoicing requirements.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Account Director to support the contract.
- Work with Account Administrator to deliver monthly report on time and ensure reporting is accurate.
- Ensure customer communication is clearly supported with analysis and data that can drive effective decision making at a rapid pace.

- Audit & compliance: Perform audits of site logbooks, engineering activities, subcontractor operations, and ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicle inspections are completed as required.
- Helpdesk technical support: Provide expert guidance to the SCTS helpdesk on reactive jobs and support monthly planning for core PPM engineering work.
- Stakeholder engagement: Attend SDM meetings as needed, offering detailed updates on challenges and ongoing issues related to M&E and Fabric services.
- Leadership & supervision: Step in to deputize for the Maintenance SDM whenever required.
- Engineering operations: Execute PPM, proactive, and reactive work within designated time frames, ensuring client expectations are met.
- Emergency response: Participate in on‑call rotation, delivering emergency callout services as required.
- Contractor oversight: Monitor subcontractor activities and workmanship on behalf of SDMs, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.
- Quality assurance: Maintain equipment and surrounding areas in line with agreed company standards.
- Client engagement: Uphold a professional service approach, proactively addressing client concerns and escalating as necessary.

About The Role:Working Pattern
Monday to Saturday 6am to 12pm.
