Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their design team with a Mechanical Design Engineer. You will take ownership of the mechanical design of automated equipment and associated components. The role involves creating 3D models and producing detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, working closely with the wider engineering and production teams on both standard and bespoke projects.

• Design of automated equipment and mechanical assemblies
• Creation of 3D CAD models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings
• Application of materials knowledge, assembly tolerances and Design for Manufacture principles
• Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal teams
