Responsibilities- Develop aerodynamic cooling solutions for PU, electronics, and other thermal systems, ensuring target performance parameters are met
- Analyse test data (rig, tunnel, track) to deliver car performance and drive innovation in design and development
- Build a strong understanding of aerodynamic structures and behaviours around the race car to inform thermal strategies
- Collaborate with management and engineering teams to define and deliver a clear aerodynamic thermal development plan
- Continuously improve design, testing, and analysis processes by proposing and implementing new methods and tools
- Experience in a similar role within motorsport, with a focus on aero-thermal management of powertrain, electronics, or related systems
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and thermal principles, with hands‑on experience in both 3D CFD (Star-CCM+ preferred) and 1D simulation tools such as GT-Suite or Dymola
- Experience modelling full vehicle systems and sub-components, with the ability to translate simulation results into actionable design improvements
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA/3DExperience) and solid general IT skills
- Clear, concise communication and a collaborative mindset, with a drive to contribute to a high-performance, inclusive culture

- Conduct simulations and optimisations across critical car systems to ensure weight‑efficient, robust, and high‑performing designs
- Perform structural analyses using industry‑leading software (linear/nonlinear, buckling, fatigue and optimisations) as well as conventional hand calculation methods
- Collaborate closely with design groups to challenge concepts, refine load paths, and influence design evolution from concept through to track deployment
- Prepare high‑quality documentation and present findings in technical reviews, ensuring clear communication to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Support initiatives to improve analysis workflows, enhance modelling accuracy, and support the development of best practices within the CAE group
- Assist material development works and participate T&V tests to improve material modelling accuracy
- Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience in finite element and conventional hand calculation methods, with proficiency in HyperWorks and/or Abaqus
- Experience in CAD‑FEA integration, automation scripting (e.g., Python, TCL), and handling complex load case environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to support cross‑functional design decisions
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive, hands‑on, and solution‑oriented mindset

- Proactively design and maintain Power BI dashboards for financial reporting (P&L, Cashflow, KPIs) which support stakeholders with generating clear and actionable insights
- Develop month-end dashboard which supports the Finance Business Partner team with data analytics
- Support the transition from Power BI PPU to Microsoft Fabric Capacity, utilizing good practice principles to redesign existing dataflows and transformations in the new environment
- Integrate multiple data sources into the Fabric Capacity environment
- Drive continuous improvement opportunities that leverage new features in MS Fabric and Power BI
- Ensure data governance processes are maintained and followed appropriately – driving consistency across all financial datasets and systems
- Support the transition to AI-driven reporting, including forecasting and anomaly detection, in collaboration with data science teams
What do we need from you?
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, cloud platforms, or data warehousing solutions
- Strong experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard design)

We are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Damper Technician to join our Hydraulics Department at our Dovenby Hall headquarters. This role plays a key part in the build, servicing, maintenance and development of high-performance suspension systems that contribute directly to the performance, reliability and success of our competition vehicles. Working closely with Engineers, Technicians and Production teams, you will help ensure our dampers and hydraulic components are prepared to the highest standards for testing, development and competition use.
The role responsibilities include:- Damper Assembly & Servicing: Build, service and maintain dampers and associated suspension components to exacting standards.
- Inspection & Rebuild: Strip, inspect and rebuild dampers, identifying wear, damage and opportunities for improvement.
- Quality Control: Carry out detailed component measurements, inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Competition Preparation: Prepare dampers and hydraulic assemblies for testing, development activities and competition events.
- Development Support: Assist with suspension development programmes, testing activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Documentation & Traceability: Maintain accurate service records, build documentation and component tracking systems.
- Workshop Standards: Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineers, Production and Workshop teams to support vehicle build and development programmes.
We're looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Essential Criteria & Skills- Mechanical Understanding: Strong understanding of mechanical assembly, suspension systems, hydraulics or precision engineering principles.
