Therapists provide individualised assessment and intervention to children aged 0‑18 with varying occupational difficulties including motor, sensory‑motor and neuro‑developmental challenges, alongside universal and targeted support. Input is provided in children’s homes, schools, and health centres.

Regular clinical supervision and learning opportunities support ongoing professional development.

• Conduct personalised assessments of child development, activities of daily living and school participation.
• Plan and deliver evidence‑based interventions tailored to the child’s needs and settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families and carers to coordinate care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and progress reports.
• Provide training and support to teachers, carers and other professionals.

• Post‑registration competency as a qualified Occupational Therapist (Band 6).
• Relevant experience working with children across multiple settings.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle for travel to community sites.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
