With significant plans for growth and global transformation, NTT GDC are now recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner - German Speaking (m/f/d) to act as the primary people partner, providing guidance, coaching and advice to business and functional leaders and the wider employee population.

The Successful candidate will be part of the Regional EMEA HRBP team, collaborating closely with our Data Center Operations leadership across the EMEA region, with an initial focus on either of UK/DACH/NL/SP. Partnering with the respective function leads, the role will drive our people processes and strategy, organizational design, talent management and succession planning. This role is integral to our European Operations leadership team, ensuring alignment between people initiatives and business objectives in a fast-paced environment to foster a high-performance culture

This is a full-time permanent role within a hybrid working environment.

What you will do

  • Provide “eye-level” HR Business Partnering to our Data Center Operations community in Europe
  • Understand business goals, initiate new approaches and processes to effect continuous improvement to support business objectives, and organizational design/effectiveness
  • Take ownership of HR/ER cases and other areas where HR expertise is required to help to navigate through change and growth situation
  • Guide managers on the right tools and access to advice needed for effective management of the performance of their people
  • Advise on people development within existing and new policies and procedures
  • Align between business and HR on compensation and Benchmarking
  • Be available as a source of advice for managers to assist with employee challenges or concerns
  • Support creating and maintaining a culture of excellence, togetherness along the NTT values which is clearly visible through the outputs of the team
  • Closely collaborate across the HR functions to establish customized and practicable solutions
  • Interact with works council and/or other representation bodies

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience as a HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in a multinational/European Tech or IT environment
  • Strong understanding of organizational design, talent management, and succession planning
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and commercially astute
  • Must understand Operations and Construction functions
  • Exposure to 24/7 shift patterns and 3rd party workforce desirable
  • Strong analytical and conceptual mindset
  • Fluent in English and German (verbal and written)
  • Experience in collaborating with worker representation/work council bodies in DACH region
  • Willingness to travel, ca 20 - 25%
  • Highly client and service oriented and team oriented

As the Critical Facilities Maintenance (CFM) Lead Engineer , you will report to the Critical Facilities Maintenance (CFM) Manager and will be responsible for the support and delivery of Facility Management (FM) services to NTT Data Centers, ensuring operational performance and efficiency is always maintained to the highest possible standards. Provide engineering support and guidance in general on property matters affecting the on-going management and development of NTT Data Centers.

You will be responsible for the management of a team of CFM Engineers on your site, including but not limited to ensuring training matrix are up to date, ensure that all planned absences are covered, and scenario drills are completed. You will provide technical support and leadership across the site on critical facility matters, including first line responses to any incidents that arise. You will provide engineering services and guidance on facility matters affecting the day-to-day management and development of the critical and non-critical infrastructure. Plan, manage and implement the delivery of FM services to the Data Centers ensuring optimal operational performance, and that compliance is always maintained to the highest possible standard. Provide engineering services and guidance in general on matters affecting the on-going management and development of the Data Centers.

What will you do?
  • Maintain and supervise a CFM Engineering team
  • Manage the CAFM system and ticketing queues
  • Ensure there is continuous development of the sites Emergency Operations Procedures and Standard Operations Procedures
  • Carry out operational and maintenance activities as directed, ensuring work is executed in a safe and compliant manner
  • Assist in resolving technical issues with site operations
  • Be the first level of escalation for technical and non-technical issues for your CFM Engineering team
  • Support the CFM Engineering teams to ensure correct operation of the critical services of the Data Centers
  • Act as an Authorized Person for the SSOW for both Low Voltage and High Voltage systems
  • Identify faults and accurately diagnose root causes
  • Experience in facilities, operations or engineering; in a Data Center critical environment (ideal but critical environments such as hospitals or banking may be suitable)
  • Working knowledge and understanding of engineering operations within Mission Critical Environments
  • Creating and developing SOP and EOP documentation and other related/similar processes
  • LV Switching experience (HV an advantage)
  • Demonstrable experience in operating and fault finding complex and integrated M&E systems including (Transformers, LV, Generators, UPS, Electrical distribution, BMS, Air Conditioning, Fire suppression systems)

Essential qualifications relevant to the role
  • AP12 LV/ AP15 HV Authorized Person
  • 17th or 18th Edition certified (or comparable) electrical qualification, ideally electrical test & inspection
  • HND or similar in relevant area (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services)
  • Health and Safety related (i.e. IOSH – Working Safely)
Desirable qualifications relevant to the role
  • NVQ / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Level 2 or 3)
  • F-Gas Certification (essential for working with refrigerants)
  • Strong electrical & mechanical knowledge of HVAC/chiller systems
  • Experience with commercial or industrial chillers (air or water‑cooled)
  • L8 Legionella Management (company will train you to the required standard)

  • Review intake forms and scoping material created by Solution Engineers and produce an end-to-end scope of work that is tenderable covering any site / base build modifications required including any commissioning or documentation outputs as well as the client specific requirements
  • Lead the technical review ensuring input and sign off from other stakeholder teams including but not limited to Local Operations and Engineering teams
  • Carry out any appropriate capacity checks to ensure solution proposed can be serviced via existing M&E infrastructure and/or suggest modifications required to support proposed requirements
  • Input into both cost and schedule creation relating to design activities per opportunity
  • Drive and manage external parties supporting the volume of requests ensuring performance goals and outputs are met specifically around quality, accuracy and timeline KPI’s.
  • Undertake site surveys (or co-ordinate local resource) as necessary across EMEA to establish the feasibility of design proposals
  • Support design reviews (for specific projects) to ensure compliance with company design standards, local code requirements and the project brief
  • Proactively involve the wider NTT team where required to capture any infrastructure or system upgrades that are required to meet the scope of requirements including power, cooling ancillary systems (e.g. security, monitoring, metering and fire safety) and any necessary CFDs to RIBA Stage 2 (30% plans)
  • Actively participate in the lessons learned process post RFS to ensure knowledge is applied and implemented in future designs
  • Assess, track and validate any change to scope and manage the change through the change management process
  • Assess, mitigate, and manage risks connected with design to reduce/eliminate residual project risks and resolve design related issues.
Knowledge & Abilities:

Your role at a glance

The Manager –Capital Planning and Analysis (m/f/d) , is responsible for overseeing portfolio performance and capital planning initiatives across the global investment pipeline. This role gathers, analyzes, and synthesizes financial recommendations on new capital investments and large sales opportunities. It works closely with Sales, Construction, Product, Investment, and other stakeholders to build business case models for new and existing locations, analyze profitability, provide strategic financial recommendations, and monitor performance against plans.

What you will do
