The Role

This is a database-heavy Data Engineer position where you’ll take ownership of designing, optimising and evolving production-critical systems across AWS. Particularly using SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver scalable database solutions (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
  • Lead migrations of MS SQL Server on EC2 to AWS RDS
  • Build and manage data pipelines
  • Drive performance tuning, query optimisation, and indexing strategies
  • Collaborate across engineering teams to embed robust database architecture


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in database engineering (design, build, optimisation, support)
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL) and PostgreSQL
