Our client is a well-established professional organisation based in Swavesey and is looking to recruit a Part-Time Receptionist / Office Administrator to support their Office Manager and wider business. This is a diverse role where no two days are the same, combining front-of-house responsibilities with a wide range of administrative duties.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a busy office environment, have excellent organisational skills and be happy juggling multiple tasks whilst providing a professional service to colleagues and visitors alike.
Main Responsibilities
- Greeting visitors and ensuring a professional first impression
- Managing the reception area and handling incoming enquiries
- Booking and preparing meeting rooms, including refreshments where required
- Coordinating visitor bookings, taxis and accommodation
- Arranging courier collections and deliveries
- Providing general administrative support across multiple departments
- Printing, binding, laminating and preparing documents
- Ordering office supplies, stationery and PPE
- Managing incoming and outgoing post
- Coordinating hot desk bookings
- Assisting with facilities administration and supporting the Office Manager
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting general office operations
- Providing cover for colleagues during busy periods or annual leave
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Receptionist, Administrator or Office Support role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Able to prioritise a varied workload and work independently
- Professional, approachable and reliable
- A flexible, positive attitude with a willingness to support the wider team
Salary & Working Hours
Hours: Approximately 25-30 hours per week with flexibility around working days and start/finish times.
Location: Office based in Swavesey.
