Job Summary

To manage all aspects of maintenance of the Guernsey Registry, for client and in-house entities; including updates within the mandatory timeline. Ensuring beneficial ownership and control details are correct in our database and at the registry.

To maintain the in-house companies’ statutory data and manage filings and Annual Validations accordingly.

To manage all aspects of the Key Data held in the core database (Acumen) and assist in the alignment of all relevant fields and codes in Acumen.

To lead more junior staff with direct reporting line to you; to be responsible for their development and manage all aspects of their career progression as necessary.

To oversee any projects, as required, undertaken in the Operations team in respect of group and or local transformation. To consider ways of obtaining efficiencies through automated processing or Centres of Excellence.

This role would suit a Trust and Company client facing candidate transitioning to Operations or someone with Trust and Company operations experience.

Job Accountabilities Business Support
  • To manage all aspects of the companies’ registry; including updates to all entities within the required timeline; including obtaining the information for change from the administration processes and or audit reports as necessary.

  • To engage with and assist in the management of any Registry Supervision visits and to be a point of contact for all registry matters.

  • To ensure the client facing teams know their obligations in respect of the registry as it affects their client structures and to ensure that information is provided to the Operations & Business support team in a timely manner as required.

  • To manage all aspects of the Key Data held in the core database (Acumen) and assist in the alignment of all relevant fields and codes in Acumen with Guernsey.

  • Updating structure charts regarding beneficial ownership and controllers and the three trier test.

  • Provide support for banking relationships and banking platforms.

  • Consider development needed to Acumen to include how we hold data, how we report and analyse our data and how we meet our reporting obligations in accordance with GFSC & Guernsey Registry requirements

  • To assist with any projects, undertaken in the Operations team in respect of group and or local Transformation.

  • To consider ways of obtaining efficiencies through automated processing or Centres of Excellence.

  • To Manage in-house and administered entities’ submissions for the annual Data Protection registration process.

  • To assist with maintenance of the internal Data Protection Register.

Professional Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant role.

  • Previous experience working in the Trust and Company industry is necessary.

  • Experience making submissions via the Guernsey Registry.

Required Skills
  • Strong communication skills and be adept at building relationships across the business.

  • Understanding of the broad spectrum of risks facing the sector; including but not limited to data security, people related, regulatory risk, etc.

  • Sound understanding of industry best practices in relation to operations and risk management.

  • Experience in working in the Private Wealth / Corporate Services sector on a cross jurisdictional basis.

Job Summary

The Senior Manager – Fund and Corporate is responsible for the implementation, growth and day‑to‑day operation of the firm’s new AIFM and Collective Investment Scheme (CIS) Operator activities within the London business. The role carries senior management responsibility for our Small UK AIFM and Operator service lines, including accountability for regulatory outcomes, operational resilience, and governance effectiveness as a first‑line senior management owner under the FCA’s principles-based supervisory approach. The role is inclusive of ownership of the operational, governance and service delivery framework across the range of client types, structures and asset classes capable of being serviced within these regulatory authorisations. Core strategies include UK, Channel Islands and international fund and corporate structures across real estate, private equity, private credit, and other alternative asset classes. This is also client facing role that will act as senior client and intermediary relationship lead and will be responsible for the oversight of all client engagements, service delivery under client mandates and support with the financial performance of these service lines. This role will work alongside the existing corporate and funds teams across the Group as well as working closely with senior management and compliance teams to ensure the business operates in compliance with its authorisations while supporting scalable growth. This is a new role and candidates should be entrepreneurial and look to own and grow these new service lines with a vision to build a team to support the business’ budgets, targets and growth ambitions.

Fund Oversight
  • Oversight of portfolio management and risk management (including review of delegation arrangements).
  • Responsibility for valuation policy governance and challenge of third‑party valuers.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Accountabilities

The day to day running of own portfolio of clients. Tasks will involve:

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Educated to ‘A’ Level standard, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience during which own portfolio of clients has been managed
  • A relevant professional qualification i.e. STEP Certificate/Diploma
