We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Procurement Team on a 12-month FTC and play a key role in delivering effective, commercially focused and well-governed procurement activity across Principality .
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, project teams, specialist functions and external suppliers, supporting procurement activity from sourcing and tender management through to contract drafting, implementation and ongoing supplier management.
What you’ll be doing:- Managing IT procurement activities with expertise and analytical skills
- Developing risk-mitigating and value-adding sourcing strategies
- Conducting competitive tendering and evaluation processes
- Drafting and implementing IT contracts
- Supporting and advancing our strategic and transformational objectives
- Improving processes to deliver efficient service to internal customers
- Proven experience delivering IT procurement initiatives at Senior Buyer level (or equivalent), managing end-to-end sourcing and commercial activities across technology categories
- Strong track record of leading procurement workstreams within complex, high-value, or business-critical IT projects, balancing commercial, operational, and risk considerations
- Demonstrable success in negotiating technology contracts and securing sustainable commercial outcomes,
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills , with the ability to build credibility and communicate effectively with business, technology, risk, and senior leadership stakeholders
- Desirable: Experience supporting digital transformation or strategic technology programmes
- Desirable: Experience within a Financial Services or other highly regulated environment, although industry experience is not essential for the right candidate.
- CIPS accreditation

Acting as a recognised capital SME, you will lead the development and delivery of capital management frameworks, provide strategic insight to senior leadership, and drive optimisation across the balance sheet.
Working closely with the Head of Balance Sheet Management, you will:- Lead capital planning and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory expectations
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of ICAAP and Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP), including stress testing and scenario analysis
- Drive capital optimisation, including RWA efficiency, capital allocation, and support for strategic initiatives

- Provide expert insight on regulatory developments (e.g. PRA expectations, Basel frameworks), translating these into actionable strategy
- Support pricing, product development, and business planning through a capital lens
- Partner with Treasury, Risk, and Finance teams, ensuring joined‑up balance sheet management (including liquidity and funding considerations)
- Influence senior stakeholders, contributing to ALCO, executive committees, and Board‑level discussions
- Significant experience within Capital or Balance Sheet Management in a bank, building society, or similar institution
- Deep understanding of:
- Capital frameworks (CET1, buffers, leverage, MREL where relevant)
- ICAAP, stress testing, and regulatory capital requirements
- Balance sheet dynamics and ALM techniques
- Proven ability to lead complex regulatory deliverables and drive strategic outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate technical capital insights into business decisions
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders, including executive and Board‑level forums
- A proactive, delivery‑focused leader with a continuous improvement mindset

Were looking for an experienced Operations Engineer II to take ownership of our core banking (CARES), payments and job scheduling platforms making sure theyre stable, secure and always there when our customers need them.
This is a role where youll lead from the front; driving major incident response, championing automation and mentoring others while shaping how we continuously improve.
What youll be doing:
- Lead major incidents across our core banking, payments and job scheduling platforms, providing technical direction, coordinating recovery activities, and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex incidents and problems, providing expert 3rd-line support and driving permanent resolution.
- Own platform health through improvements in monitoring, automation, operational tooling, job scheduling and service reliability.
- Manage system and database administration, ensuring performance, resilience, capacity and recovery requirements are met.
- Design and test Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity capabilities, maintaining effective runbooks, procedures and recovery plans.
- Lead complex system changes and releases, ensuring operational readiness, robust controls and successful service outcomes.
- Partner with Development, Infrastructure, Security teams and suppliers while representing IT Operations in relevant governance and service forums.
- Promote ITSM best practice, knowledge sharing and continual improvement across IT Operations.
- Coach and mentor colleagues, helping build a resilient, high-performing team with strong technical capability.
️ What youll bring:
- Confidence leading incident calls and communicating clearly under pressure
- Strong experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, or Production Support environments
- Knowledge of mainframe operations (Unisys)
- Experience with Windows environments, PowerShell, SFTP and Azure DevOps
- Expertise in job scheduling, monitoring tools, and an automation-first mindset
- Working knowledge of ITIL/ITSM practices in regulated environments
- A proactive approach to identifying risks and driving improvements
- A passion for mentoring others and building team capability
Bonus if you have:
- Significant experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure or Production Support, with ownership of business-critical systems.
- ITIL Practitioner/Specialist or relevant certifications
- Experience delivering large-scale automation and operational improvements
