Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated individual to join the Global Marketing Strategy team, working hand in hand with each region, brand teams, CIX teams and corporate and Finance functions. This role is based in the UK with some travel required. The Global Marketing Strategy function plays a critical role in the business and marketing department and will co‑create and safeguard the marketing vision and long‑term strategic plans with prioritisation across projects, markets, brands, and channels – while optimising investments. The team reports into the Chief Marketing Officer, will collaborate with Regional Marketing, Brand Marketing, CIX, Media, our Finance partners, and Global Strategy & Business Development; identifying strategic issues and opportunities that could influence business growth, brand elevation, consumer growth and profitability. Reporting to the Global Marketing Strategy Director, the successful candidate will contribute to the Global Marketing Team Function in terms of strategy creation and planning, bold‑move workstream management, investment prioritisation, competitive monitoring, industry analysis, benchmarking, and research. Your scope will encompass a Global, regional, and cross‑brand overview, working across Ralph Lauren's key regions in North America, EMEA & LATAM and APAC and all brands and channels.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Supporting the Global Marketing Strategy Design, Planning, Measurement, and Implementation

  • Develop robust strategic planning process for annual and seasonal global marketing strategy creation which the overall Ralph Lauren Marketing organization will follow.
  • Create multi‑year strategies and workstreams which deliver the corporate and function objectives.
  • Proactively suggest new ways of delivering and sharing the strategy: bringing insightful new processes, and ways of working/communicating our strategy to wide audiences (internally or externally). Management of key ad‑hoc Acceleration Workstreams – you will support the creation, management, and implementation of Strategic Acceleration priorities, working with different corporate and marketing teams, regions across the organization in realizing the marketing brand and business objectives.
  • Identify Workstream Opportunities: based on the strategy tracking process you have put in place, you will be able to understand how we are tracking towards our strategy and identify key bold moves and ‘acceleration workstreams’ that need to be put in place to reach objectives.
  • Create clear process and actionable roadmap for key team members to follow to ensure we are delivering and communicating progress in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate & partner with cross‑functional teams and internal marketing partners to shape the most efficient workstream, ensuring clear allocation of responsibilities, constant spirit of collaboration and co‑creation and positive prioritisation.
  • Creation of Executive Strategic Marketing Documents, Analysis & Reports – together with the team, you will be a key support in the creation of highly strategic marketing presentations and reports enabling the team and Chief Marketing Officer to present the Marketing vision to internal teams, executive leadership and/or external members (Board of Directors, Finance Committee, Investor Day).
  • Manage timelines and coordinate deliverables of key marketing review meetings (e.g. Quarterly Marketing Review with CEO and Executive Leadership Team).
  • Create key strategic meeting preparation material, research and reports – support in the Financial Strategy Analysis & Investment Prioritisation. Partnering with Finance and Insights teams, you will support in the prioritisation of marketing investment across brands, channels, regions and projects.
  • Create new processes and ROI models and frameworks to effectively measure impact of marketing organisation within industry and internally within the company.
  • Assist in the annual budget planning process and LRP review of marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate and partner with Finance partner to continuously optimise our investments. As Senior Manager in the team you will exemplify a culture of forward‑looking insight mindset and processes to ensure the team is continuously kept up to speed and on latest information and data to inform our strategies.
  • Inspire and further cultivate a forward‑looking skillset and mindset within the marketing team which is reflected in all marketing activations and strategies.
  • Bring an innovative, positive, entrepreneurial, and creative passion to the role with an unyielding drive to experiment, learn, analyse, adapt, collaborate and succeed.
  • Set new processes and ways of working to ensure we are continuously monitoring and keeping track of the fast‑evolving landscape.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
  • Minimum 6–8 full strategic performance cycles experience in a Marketing, Consulting or Project Management role regionally or globally.
  • Experience coordinating fast evolving strategies, processes.
  • Thorough analytical experience in FMCG, Fashion, Luxury industry.
  • While highly strategic, must also be operationally strong with demonstrable ability to establish processes and drive flawless execution, working with and through others.
  • Both creative and analytic/data‑driven, has ability to generate interesting and innovative ideas that can be brought to live in fiscally responsible ways.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset. Has desire and ability to rethink the status quo.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations.
