Key Responsibilities
- Support the recruitment, registration and onboarding of new workers.
- Assist with the day-to-day coordination of the onsite workforce.
- Maintain regular contact with workers and support employee engagement.
- Monitor attendance, absence, staffing levels and key account performance measures.
- Build effective working relationships with temporary workers, supervisors and client representatives.
- Respond to worker queries and support the resolution of day-to-day issues.
- Maintain accurate records, systems and administration.
- Help ensure staffing requirements are met and service standards are maintained.
- Work closely with the wider recruitment, payroll and HR teams to support the smooth running of the site.

About the Role:
As a Driving Assessor, you will play a key role in Promoting safety, compliance and excellence in driving performance, reporting directly into the Compound Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Induction & Training: Deliver comprehensive training to new employees on company driving standards, site protocols, and legal requirements.
- Refresher Training: Provide ongoing training for existing staff, identifying development needs and ensuring compliance.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously assess driving performance, offer constructive feedback, and implement improvement plans.

About You:
- Full UK driving licence (mandatory)
- Relevant driver training/assessment qualification (desirable, e.g., PTLLS, Level 3 Award in Education & Training)
- Previous experience as a driving assessor, driver trainer, or in transport compliance
- Strong understanding of UK driving laws and workplace transport regulations
- Experience monitoring and evaluating driving performance

What You’ll Be Doing:
Working under the direction of the Workshop Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to manufacturer standards
- Performing routine servicing on a variety of vehicle models, including light commercial vehicles
- Stripping down, checking, and replacing faulty parts and assemblies
- Testing, reassembling, and adjusting mechanical and electrical systems
- Keeping workshop tools and equipment clean, organised, and well-maintained
