The Fundraising Assistant supports the smooth and welcoming operation of the Fundraising Office. Based at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, the role requires working agreed hours across 4-5 days to maintain consistent cover for enquiries and supporter needs.

Supporter Care Act as a warm, professional first point of contact for supporters, staff and community fundraisers. Provide clear information, resolve queries where possible and signpost when needed. Use strong written and verbal communication to ensure donors feel valued.

This role is based within the Fundraising Office at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, ensuring the post holder is accessible to colleagues, supporters and fundraisers and able to provide timely inperson support. To maintain reliable cover for enquiries and to support continuity of donor care, the post holder will work their agreed hours across 45 days per week.

Working as part of a small, friendly team, the Fundraising Assistant will help maintain accurate donor records, support the processing of charitable income and assist with preparations for fundraising events, materials and communications. The Fundraising Officer is responsible for delivering effective, wellplanned fundraising activity that supports income growth for Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity. Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity seeks a proactive Fundraising Officer to develop and deliver fundraising activity across the Trust and local community.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Audiologist to join our friendly team.

In this role, the successful candidate will perform all aspects of Band 5 work with the Adult and Paediatric audiology service.

This will include appropriate assessment, treatment and managing directly referred patients, providing aural (re)habilitation and care for hearing aid users and those with associated audiological conditions i.e. tinnitus. You will also provide audiology support to ENT. You will also lead unaided school age clinics, following local protocols such as the OME pathway.

The department is a dynamic, forward thinking and innovative department covering a wide range of specialties. We deliver anaesthesia across 4 sites namely the Royal Cornwall Hospital, St Michael's Hospital, West Cornwall Hospital and St Austell Surgical Hub.

We are looking to appoint Consultants in General anaesthesia.

The Hospital is a major District General Hospital; a major trauma unit, a vascular centre, with comprehensive cancer services, providing over 30,000 anaesthetics per year, and over 4000 births, with over 750 beds. We have 27 operating theatres and anaesthesia delivery areas and 18 critical care beds, and further expansion planned. There is agreed government funding for a new Women and Children's extension to the hospital to include to obstetric theatres, 2 paediatric theatres and 2 further theatres.

Job Overview:

The successful applicant will take part in the general on-call rota (approx 1 in 30) and will provide long day (08.00 to 20.30) CEPOD or Trauma emergency theatre provision on approximately 10 occasions per year.

Consultant Anaesthetist - General Anaesthesia

Applications are invited for this exciting opportunity to join the anaesthetic team of 68 Consultants and 8 SAS doctors at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. The department is a dynamic, forward thinking and innovative department covering a wide range of specialties. We deliver anaesthesia across 4 sites namely the Royal Cornwall Hospital, St Michael's Hospital, West Cornwall Hospital and St Austell Surgical Hub.

We are looking to appoint Consultants in General anaesthesia.

The Hospital is a major District General Hospital; a major trauma unit, a vascular centre, with comprehensive cancer services, providing over 30,000 anaesthetics per year, and over 4000 births, with over 750 beds. We have 27 operating theatres and anaesthesia delivery areas and 18 critical care beds, and further expansion planned. There is agreed government funding for a new Women and Children's extension to the hospital to include to obstetric theatres, 2 paediatric theatres and 2 further theatres.

Job Overview:

The successful applicant will take part in the general on-call rota (approx 1 in 30) and will provide long day (08.00 to 20.30) CEPOD or Trauma emergency theatre provision on approximately 10 occasions per year.

Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Anaesthesia

To share with colleagues the responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Anaesthetic department.

Teaching and training of junior staff and medical students where applicable.

To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing medical education (CME).

To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.

To participate in quality improvement, data analysis and information presentation, and service development, as appropriate.

To attend care group and directorate business, operational and governance meetings as appropriate.

Fulfil duties of weekly timetable including any out-of-hours responsibilities.

Deliver pre-operative assessment and cardiopulmonary exercise testing sessions and contribute to development of digital perioperative medicine (POM) pathways.
