This role plays an essential part in the Smartech team. We are looking for an experienced Sales & BD expert to help us continue to disrupt the global retail space through our innovative partnerships. This role will manage the most important brand partnerships for Smartech around the world and play a pivotal role in their success.
Objectives of this Role- Identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities globally.
- Drive revenue by seeking partnerships with various direct brands and clients from the tech sector.
- Create and maintain a strong B2B pipeline, ensuring continuous engagement and follow‑up.
- Close deals effectively, contributing to the company's revenue generation goals.
- Create compelling sales propositions utilizing internal and external data for respective regions.
- Liaise with cross‑functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews to assess progress and strategize improvements.
- Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies.
- Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales, operational customer service, and account management.
- Update clients on Smartech stores and developments and educate clients on best practices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATEBachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or another related area of study is good to have.
2-3 years of business development/partnerships experience.

About the role as Finance DirectorThis is a high‑impact, on‑site role based at our office in London, where you’ll steer the strategic and operational direction of our finance department. Leading a dedicated in‑house team of six (including accounting, payroll, treasury, and business development roles), your mission is to drive compliance, structure, and profitability while fostering engagement and collaboration across the department. You will work closely with HR and report directly to the CEO/Managing Director.
Responsibilities- Leading and developing the finance team (6 people)
- Owning budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management
- Ensuring compliance with accounting, tax, and legal obligations
- Providing strategic financial insights to the CEO and management
- Overseeing contracts, payroll, and internal financial controls
- Driving improvements in processes, systems, and structure

- Proven record in accounting and ERP systems (certified in Xero)

About the roleAs Head of Sales, you will lead our local B2B Partnerships team, drive revenue growth, and act as a general manager for the commercial side of the business. - Demonstrable experience leading and developing a sales or partnerships team and consistently hitting revenue targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching and team management skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable operating as a player-coach – owning your own accounts while managing others.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is good to have.
