Key Responsibilities- To validate that the work of all engineers is performed to the required standards, as set out by Gas Safety Regulations and Sureserve Compliance.
- To identify any gaps in an engineer’s knowledge and provide feedback to line managers where additional training is required.
- To visit serious complaint jobs and document a clear record of events, including issues such as poor workmanship, gas safety concerns, and CO risks.
- To upload photographic evidence via PDA, along with full reports and recommendations following visits.
- A QC Inspector will ensure sufficient quality checks (QCs) are carried out across the area throughout the year to meet client needs and demonstrate that standards are being achieved.
- To ensure engineers comply with all health and safety requirements. All issued equipment must be fit for purpose and free from defects, including:
- PPE
- Vehicles
- Ladders
- To conduct regular HSE checks with each engineer within the geographical contract area.
- To confidently engage with client representatives and communicate relevant information through the correct channels.
- To understand servicing, breakdowns, and installation work (where required), and identify ways to improve engineers’ working practices.
- To recognise that honest reporting is essential for the development of engineers, the team, and the company.
- To resolve any reasonable issues raised by tenants or clients.
- To record and report unsafe or poor workmanship in a constructive and professional manner, ensuring sensitivity to avoid alarming tenants.
- To assess and mentor new starters and newly qualified engineers.
- To be self‑motivated and capable of working unsupervised.
- To assess issues effectively and bring them to a swift resolution.
- To accommodate occasions where:
- Work outside normal hours is required
- Extensive travel across business areas is necessary
- Additional tasks outside this specification are assigned
- To ensure agreed targets are met and management systems are regularly updated.
- To fully research and understand each client’s contractual requirements.
- To actively seek industry updates and present these to the team during toolbox talks when required.

We are recruiting for a diligent, professional Contract Administrator to join our busy team. This role necessitates a resilient and detail-focused person with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Overview of Role:The Contract Administrator serves as a crucial conduit between multiple stakeholders, ensuring that accurate data is delivered and communicated daily to the appropriate parties and that all planned, and allocated works are distributed on time, meeting the standards set by the Company and its Clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team leaders, engineers, suppliers, and tenants with proven administrative work experience, ideally in the housing, premises, or facilities management sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Planning the day to day works of the Heating Engineers, Multi-Skilled Engineers, Electricians, Plumbers, Apprentices, and distribute/communicate work accordingly.
- Ensuring the cascade of data is both accurate and timely.
- Ensuring up to date records are both produced and kept via the appropriate mediums on time.
- Liaise with the other Contracts Administrators and Supervisors.
- Answering and dealing with phone calls from both Clients and Tenants.
- A self-motivated individual, looking to develop and progress within a successful Company.
- Understand and work to an excellent level of customer service.
- The ideal candidate will have experience and be proficient with Microsoft packages, IT systems and databases and possess strong organisational abilities.
- Experience of handling a high volume of calls will be beneficial
- Require a friendly and professional attitude to encourage good relationships with Engineers, Tenants and Clients.
It is important that we complete all the appropriate criminal and reference checks before you start working with us.
Working hours will be Wednesday to Friday 8am till 5pm with 1 hour for lunch, based in our local Boston office.

Role- Day‑to‑day management of the installation you have been assigned
- Complete the installation to the specification of the survey and the client criteria and to all governing body regulations

- To return to any recalls at the request of your installation supervisor
- Complete the assigned installation within the set time frame
- Complete all paperwork including timesheets and H&S Monitoring forms

- Valid ACS & other relevant gas qualifications

Overview ofRole:
The primary responsibility of the Heating Engineer will be to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties. They will ensure that the heating & hot watersystems are operating efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.
- Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
- Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
- Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.
- To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.
Key Attributes & Requirements:
- Gas qualifications are essential for this role including as a minimum CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
- Out of Hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis isrequired as part of this role
- A friendly and professional attitude to build strong relationships with clients & tenants
