If you are an experienced finance leader who is driven by automation, coupled with excellent business partnering capabilities as well as technical accounting skills, then we’d love to hear from you!
Key responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day finance function, including all annual statutory and monthly management reporting
- Manage the audit process and be the point of contact for external auditors
- Own budgeting, forecasting, planning & KPI analysis
- Business partner cross functionally, in particular with Commercial / GTM / Product / Engineering function
- Introduce more automation / commercial thinking / value add / partnering ways of working across finance
- Develop and mentor an ambitious finance function
- Qualified accountant with significant experience across scaling tech businesses (crypto experience / understanding is advantageous however non-essential)
- Recent tech scaleup experience, coupled with earlier exposure within a corporate / listed environment
- Established business partner, capable of challenging, advising and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders
- Clear and articulate thinker

The Role
Joining the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll be the CEO’s right hand on all things commercial and financial - a trusted sounding board, strategic adviser and investor liaison. You’ll lead the development of robust long range business plans, ensuring visibility, clarity and actionable insight into client profitability, utilisation and operational efficiency.
You will:
- Partner with the CEO to deliver the long term growth strategy and maximise profitability
- Implement best in class reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes, giving the business clear financial visibility
- Drive commercial analysis and deal structuring for high-value contracts and investment opportunities
- Present to investors, articulating the business case for growth and capital deployment
- Support M&A activity
- Oversee a small, high performing finance team

About You
You’re a proven CFO with significant experience in strategic finance leadership roles across project based entertainment or creative technology sectors. You thrive in fast paced, high growth environments and are adept at balancing creativity with commercial rigour.
You’ll bring:
- A track record of driving growth in a project based media/ creative businesses (Production, Post Production, VFX…)
- Experience partnering closely with Senior Leadership Teams and presenting to investors
- Strong commercial acumen in deal making, raising capital and creating financing models
- The ability to ‘get under the bonnet’ of the numbers, interrogate the P&L, and provide actionable insight
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence at all levels
